Marilyn was so incredible during the whole process of making my dream wedding dress & wings! I came to her after months of trying on what felt like hundreds of gowns and never having that 'this is the one' moment. I was so nervous about trusting someone to make "the dress" without being able to try it on first. I took so many photos of inspo ideas to her of other dress elements i liked, not fully knowing what I wanted at the start, but still being particular with what I liked and didn't like, and she took all my ideas & inspo and was able to combine them to create the dress I had in my head & got to love wearing on the day!
I was from out of town and she was so flexible with our appointments and timeframes, going out of her way to help make the process so seamless, her communication was exceptional too & everything was so stress-free!
I couldn't be happier with the unique creation she came up with for me, and was able to pull off 3 looks in one with a detachable sleeve & wings! I loved that it felt like a real collaborative experience even over just a couple of appointments, ideas changing & tweaked along the way with our combined ideas, and seeing it come to life before my eyes from some bits of fabric was magic. I would highly recommend Marilyn to anyone looking for a custom designed wedding dress, I had the best experience!

Finding the perfect dress is never easy... after going to a number of dress shops, trying on at least 12 dresses and being no closer to 'the one'... it was recommended to me to get in touch with Marilyn. I sent her through a handful of photos with elements of dresses that I liked.... within a few short hours she sent me a rough sketch of a dress... it was literally my dream dress. I had goosebumps immediately and everything went amazingly from there. Marilyn took that hand sketch and at every appointment brought the vision closer and closer to reality, she knew exactly what I wanted and every appointment showed that. I think we made 3 minor tweaks over the whole process - and even those we both saw and commented on at the same time. I don't know how she did it, but she took a jumble of things I liked and literally created my dream dress staying true to that vision from day one.
The hours and amount of attention to detail and hand sewing that Marilyn and the team put into my dress was nothing short of breathtaking. On my wedding day I had non-stop comments on the quality, delicacy and intricacy of the handiwork and was so proud to be wearing a Marilyn Crystelle gown. As I have said to Marilyn a number of times, having her design my dress was the easiest part of the wedding and hands down my favourite appointments throughout the wedding planning. My dress is going to be treasured and cherished for many years to come and I cannot thank Marilyn and her team enough for everything that they did in bringing my dream wedding dress to life xxxx

I cannot thank Marilyn enough for her thoughtful, creative and unique service and designs. I was very nervous about having my wedding dress made but Marilyn put me right at ease. She always listened to my requirements, but importantly value-added with her specialist advice. I went in with a magazine cut-out idea and came out with a unique and simply beautiful wedding dress that was perfect for me. There is no doubt that Marilyn is the best. Marilyn was an absolute pleasure to work with; she was professional, patient, collaborative, and created a dress more beautiful than I could have imagined. She completely delivered on the vision I had for my wedding dress, even with the design process happening via phone and email. Marilyn custom made my wedding gown and I loved it! We will be renewing our vows for our 10 year anniversary soon enough and I'll be taking my original wedding dress to Marilyn so she can make another gorgeous gown from my original dress :) I wouldn't go to anyone else! Marilyn is so wonderfully talented! My dress was PERFECT and it fitted me like a dream, I did not want to take it off!! The best thing about a C-19 wedding is i'll get to wear it again at the party!!
