Old Spot Hotel

The old spot meals are great value for outstanding quality meals. Absolutely delicious everytime we go for dinner. The roast is tender and the mash is yummy. I ordered the king avocado chicken schnitzel (special), was absolutely divine. The chips were nice and crunchy too. Meals are always spot on and the staff are lovely 😍

I went there on a Saturday there was lots of market stalls with lots of varieties to choose from. Then went inside for a quick drink. It was amazing inside, very clean and organized. The staff were excellent great place to visit 😀

My first time at the old spot and I am really impressed. The staff were all extremely friendly and the food was excellent.
Karen was my favourite staff member, she was so friendly, welcoming and cheerful. What a wonderful environment to enjoy a great meal or casual drink.

I would like to thank Karen and her staff for an absolutely fantastic day. From the moment I spoke to Karen requesting our wedding to be held there, nothing was too hard for her or her team. She listened and ensured my vision came to life. She welcomed every guest with open arms and worked longer hrs to ensure our day went smoothly. Karen went above and beyond, and I would recommend any bride to consider the Old Spot for both their ceremony and reception.
The food was great, and the alcohol was never an issue. The accommodation left for us was fantastic.
My guests all had an absolute blast.
Karen catered for all our suppliers from the cake drop off's to the DJ.

Mothers Day lunch was really good all the family enjoyed the meal and we all had a great time.

Decided to stop into the gaming room tonight. Hadn't been here for a while. The gaming room had changed since last time. Its quite good. Has new games and some 'emerald edition' older games from years ago like Queen of the Nile etc.. It is bright and not dreary which is nice for a gaming area. It also has the other gambling set up in this area now too. So people have options to have a break from the pokies and perhaps try keno or place a bet on a horse or even just sit at the table to get a drink and relax. It was quiet tonight being a Tuesday but still had a good atmosphere. I've been stopping in here for years now and it's definitely improving its looks in my opinion. The outside area is really good too.

Myself and 20 other ladies had a fantastic meal..
I highly recommend having your Christmas get-together there.

Accommodation was absolutely fantastic I stayed for 2 nights. Bed was huge and so comfortable. Room was big. Noise from road was not a problem at all. Food was delicious. The staff were all amazing from booking accommodation on the phone, to checking in making sure I had cold bottles for the room, the staff that served me for dinner, all went above and beyond. Definitely great place to stay.

Awesome tavern for a meal, drive past it regularly and tonight we decided to pull in and give it a try. Was nearly empty in the dining area which I was surprised to see considering the food was amazing and good selection of beers on tap. The staff were really helpful and friendly. Had a great older style atmosphere with great service. The food came out within 10 minutes which was awesome too. Had the Texas style brisket which was very moderately priced for a decent bit of brisket and tasted delicious. The bbq sauce was to die for. Will definitely be going back there again. Thanks!

Went to the old spot hotel last night for tea. Have not been for a long time as the meals were average but after last night we will defiantly be back soon. Ordered T bone steak with Dianne Gravy. It was absolutely delicious. The schnitzels on the table next to us looked beautiful as well.

Nice cheap meals and had an amazing soup 🍲 😋

This is the best place in Australia to buy a Jack Daniel’s and coke glass bottle stubby. Having a JD and cola from the Old Spot helps you to continue to get you through the struggle of Main North Rd……The barren waste land that comes before and straight after it can often make you feel depressed….but hook a hard left, swing around, say gday to the guy in the drive through and you’re sorted mate.

I wouldn’t take the negative reviews seriously on the Old Spots GMB. The people in this area are highly volatile emotionally and probably shouldn’t be spending time in society, let alone getting a chicken schnitzel that they’re just going to complain about and literally let ruin their life’s.

I came in the other day and I've never been to this venue and it was so welcoming. I went to gaming and the dining area the tall looking security looking lady Kerry or Kate or Karen? was polite and happy but Ellie and Jason were absolutely fantastic. Good team will definitely come back.

The staff here are just amazing and I've not been served without a smile. Team are amazing and well presented, plus very well mannered. My daughter who has asd, has been so thankful of the team for being kind and caring to her. Keep it up guys! I'm giving u 5/5 💫

Kerry, Chris, Lizzie and the Wonderful Team of staff at The Old Spot Hotel went above and beyond to help make my Mum's recent memorial service a successful and memorable event. From assisting with AV set up, food catering, and dealing with 100 plus guests swarming the bar all at once, they were simply fantastic! Nothing was too much trouble and I would thoroughly recommend the venue for any kind of event or function you may need. Great budget accommodation too for those that may over indulge and the crisp clean white high quality linen was lovely. Thanks again to everyone who helped make my Mum's send off the great time it was

Today my family (about 14 of us) decided to call into The Old Spot for a drink, following my Grandads funeral service. I am glad that we did - the outdoor area was comfortable despite the heat, but the real standout was the incredible service that we received throughout. All of the staff were lovely, but I would like to make a special mention to Myella who was attentive and professional in her work, as well as warm, friendly, great for a chat over the bar, she took the extra time to help me decide on the perfect mix for a nostalgic Chandy for my Mum & Aunty. It's rare that I take the time to do such a detailed review, and it is even rarer that I chase someone down to make sure I get their name right for it, but this afternoon was exceptional. We will most assuredly be back for Lunch and a couple of games of pool very soon. Thanks for having us 🍻

Went there with vroup bòoking. As the dining room was closed due to renovations, were out in the outdoor space.
The food was so good, the wait staff great and very obliging. Will be going back again for sure .
