Had lunch at Westfield today and just prior to leaving stopped to buy some donuts. I was served by a young woman (don’t know her name), I was so impressed with her exceptional customer service skills. She was pleasant, polite and extremely warm in her interactions. I would like to think all DK staff were as exceptional as this young woman. I would have no qualms in recommending DK to anyone. In particular, the young woman who served me. I think you know who you are. Thank you. 🌈

Every week we go to North Lakes shops & always go to food court next to Coles for Donut King experience, we get really great friendly service from the Owner & Staff.

Always friendly and bubbly. They were very patient with my odd order and the food/ cinnies we got were delicious.

My previous reviews of this outlet have always been positive. However, haven’t been for a while - went back at the weekend - new owners, new management. Ordered two flat whites. Probably the worst coffee I’ve had in a long while. No taste or flavour, more like hot milk. Disappointing and surprising, given that every other coffee outlet in that shopping centre seems able to make a good cup, without any problem.

I ordered a chocolate custard filled donut and 4 cinnamon donuts. The employee bagged the chocolate custard filled donut than later bagged the cinnamon donuts separatley, she only handed me one bag which I later found out only had the 4 cinnamon donuts, I never received the other donut I paid for. I was in a hurry to get home as my partner isn't well, so it didn't occur to me that an employee would make a mistake and cost me 6 dollars.

My recent visit to Donut King in North Lakes left much to be desired. The overall experience was far from satisfactory, with several aspects falling short of expectations.
Food (1/5):
The selection of donuts seemed lackluster, and the quality didn't quite meet the mark. The flavors lacked the freshness and vibrancy one would expect from a place known for its sweet treats.

Service (2/5):
The service was subpar, with a noticeable absence of the favorite male staff member who used to bring a touch of friendliness to the establishment. The remaining staff appeared disengaged, and the overall service lacked the warmth and enthusiasm that can make a customer's experience memorable.

Atmosphere (1/5):
The atmosphere was surprisingly dull and uninspiring. The ambiance, coupled with the lack of variety in the seating area, made the overall visit less enjoyable than anticipated. It's a far cry from the vibrant and inviting atmosphere I've experienced in other Donut King locations.

In conclusion, my recent visit to Donut King North Lakes was a letdown. The absence of my favorite staff member and the lackluster atmosphere, combined with the mediocre food quality, resulted in an overall disappointing experience. Here's hoping for improvement in the future.

If you r thinking about working here dnt bother after waiting 40 mins for my job interview and a number of call no answer had to cancil appoment to make this happen and you dnt Evan have the respect to let me know it's being canciled or running late etc and dnt seam to have very good reviews soo thanks dk for the waste of time

I love losing a $50 delivery. Because the store didn’t have the food thanks Uber eats

Got 6 hot cinnamon donuts, went home, they were under sized, dried out and the bag literally had 100g of sugar/ cinnamon chunks, like they scooped off the top layers of old stuff and threw it into my bag. Coles End. Never again

Ordered a chai latte, it was bland and might as well have ordered hot milk with water it was tasteless, I went to return it the lady just gave me this look like what am I talking about! Not even a sorry! Not buying a latte from there again, maybe a cinnamon scroll if their lucky to receive my services. They were quick to pull out the eftpos card machine for payment though

I would rate this place 0stars . My family was at the Northlakes store this afternoon and my son wanted a tray of those $10.00 mini donuts and a milk shake . My son tripped when he walked to my partner sitting down at the table and spilled the donuts … I paintently waited for the staff member to finish serving the other customers and then I said that my son had tripped and could if possible get a replacement … now I know my son tripped (7yrs old )- but the server said I can’t get another one for free I will have to pay full price .. and it wasn’t her problem that my son tripped. I said excuse me ? I said I didn’t imply it wasn’t her fault and I was very upset when she said that to me - she didn’t even seem concerned and didn’t ask how my son was …. I know full well that stock gets thrown out if not sold and it was late in the afternoon . The way she spoke to me upsetted me so much — I work on phone customer services and did 10 yrs face to face so I know how challenging customers can be but the way she spoke to me was rude and uncalled for . A customer who was waiting after me approached me with a tray .. she brought it for my son …. She didn’t have too she did tho and I feel terrible she did that . Most certainly will be paying it forward …no empathy or understanding from this serve at the store …. Made the afternoon bitter sweet . All of this for measley $10.00… and the milk shake - was just milk with malt in it … training or Google it may be required . I’m so upset by the way we were treated .
