Rosswood Preschool

I enrolled my daughter in from term 2 at Rosswood because I felt she wasn't getting enough out of her time at child care. I was really hesitant about putting her in a new environment. The teachers there are so caring, supportive and passionate about kids. They made her and our whole family feel at ease straight away. She settled in so quickly and is learning so much. Not only that, everyone at Rosswood really put an effort in to build a community. The education program sent out each term is so detailed and when I suggested things that my daughter was showing interests in, teachers took on feedback and implemented activities to support those interests straight away. Highly recommend Rosswood!

My son started 3 year old kinder this year at Rosswood. I would absolutely recommend this kinder. The teachers are so supportive, kind and get to know the kids and their individual needs. They are so friendly and willing to chat with us as parents too. My son is always engaged and comes home sharing all his stories about kinder. He is always so excited to attend every week we both couldn’t be happier with this kinder.

I enrolled my daughter this year and I can not recommended this kinder highly enough. The staff are very nurturing and supportive. They have an amazingly thorough educational program every term and their incursions are always engaging and purposeful. The kindergarten has a wonderful community vibe and thrives to instill the importance of community engagement, respect and participation within the children and families that attend this wonderful kinder.

My 3year old was enrolled and I can say this is the best kinder the staff are amazing and communication is fantastic I know exactly what they are learning & what she did that day. We had to move away and I am very sad as her new kinder is not as good as this one.

I can’t say enough nice things about this kinder! The educators are caring, engaging and share updates daily about how the children are going as well as what activities they have on. Most of all I love this kinder for my son because there is genuine care and love for the kids and you see this evidently on the parent teacher interview where they give such individualized updates on our kids and the progress they’ve made.
My second child will most definitely be coming here too and I hope that Mrs. Sarika, Mrs. Rina and Mrs. Sofia will all still be there when it’s his time to attend.

My daughter has loved attending Rosswood Preschool this year. Miss Sarika is a dedicated educator who has taken the time to help her find her place in the kinder community. She is excited every week to go to kinder!

Rosswood Kindergarten is a great learning environment for children, it is culturally diverse and meets the needs for the children who need that extra support from having learning or physical disabilities.
The staff here are an amazing dedicated team who are devoted to the children to help them thrive. The children voices and opinions are listened to by the staff who go to exta ordinary lengths to make sure everyone feels included and their cultural differences are recognised.
Rosswood is a non for profit organisation, managed by a parent Committee. Being a member of Committee enables you to have a say in how the Kindergarten is managed.
The Committee are extremely supportive of the staff and make their decisions based on the input of its Staff and Teachers.
We have amazing Teachers, Miss Sarika is our new Educational Leader starting at the beginning of 2022 and has gone above and beyond our expectations as a Teacher, kind, dedicated and loving, encourages good behaviours and choices, relationship building and begins literacy learning in preparation for school, for example recognising and writing their names.
Miss Rina has been a Teacher at Rosswood for 15 years and is a wealth of knowledge for our children, also kind, caring and supportive of your child's growth, we all love Miss Rina.
Miss Sofiya has been part of Rosswood for almost 2 years. Miss Sofiya has really grown as a Teacher since she started at Rosswood, she is also a kind, caring dedicated teacher, supportive of our diverse needs and comes up with amazing ideas in program planning.
A fantastic environment, lots of learning resources, massive sand pit, a mud kitchen, monkey bars and fort, a vegetable garden, teaching children recycling in their appropriate bins, a compost for waste, a book borrowing library, the list could go on!!

My daughter attended Rosswood Preschool for over 2 years and our experience was nothing short of amazing. All the staff are so caring and accommodating. Definitely recommend Rosswood Preschool.

My girl is so happy going to her school she loves all her teachers alot. Very friendly and cooperative staff:) i have seen alot of positive changes in my kids behaviour and learning 😊

This kinder was the most wonderful, supportive and reassuring kinder for
both my child and us as parents.Their level of care was exceptional and it was the best environment for learning and socialising.We would highly recommend it!

Would not recommend this preschool, something is not right with the staff here.
Ms. Kylee for some reason did not take much of a liking to my 4 year old son and was extremely harsh and critical for absolutely no reason, treating the children as if they are meant to meet her unrealistic ideal expectations, she always was frazzled and seemed overstressed with her role.

On one particular drop off I caught her staring angrily at my son, instead of being a kind, friendly, and welcoming teacher.
She would never greet him warmly, just stare with a upset glare.
He was always so upset to be dropped off.. I realise now after the first month of Prep at his Primary School that the problem was never him, it was this horrible school. He absolutely loves his new school and prep teacher and is thriving.

Do yourself a favour and do not enrol your child here.
