The absolute best specialist I have ever seen. I was referred to Dr Robert from a nurse and a close friend due to chronic pain issues and flew from Tasmania to see him. I have never felt so listened to, understood and genuinely believed and supported. He has already gone above and beyond to ensure he can assist in facilitating the best option to assist me with my pain. We are yet to begin treatment as I only saw him this week but I sincerely appreciate all he has done by contacting my local specialists and private health fund to work out whether I undergo treatment here in Melbourne or back in Tasmania. I couldn’t recommend him highly enough.

Dear dear Dr ROB. What can I say.? I met him the day I was diagnosed with a pretty nasty case of lymphoma. I don’t think I’ve ever experienced such a level of consideration, care and vigilance in a hospital or GP setting. There are so many stories I can tell you about what a wonderful man he was. The day I arrived, I was in a Hospital bed about to go up to the ward, and Doc Robert without even thinking of it carried my case for me. How many top specialists to do that?
The student nurses, who are the lowest of the low sometimes, whispered to me how wonderful they thought he was. On their first day they were gathered around the main desk looking a bit nervous, and Doctor Rob had turned with a white box containing a home-made cake with the greeting “welcome student nurses!“ All made by the lovely Doctor Rob him self. He would visit me very early in the morning, and sometimes very late in the evening as well. I don’t know when that man sleeps!
He would very gently awaken me. I would wake up gradually aware that he was very gently touching my hand with one of his fingers. None of this throwing the curtain aside and bellowing out “how are we today?“ He was so careful in my first meeting with him. He spent threeHours with us as he explained everything he wanted to do. We were a bit bamboozled Afterwards, and he walked us down himself all the way down to the car park and out into the street to help us find where our car was.
Who is this man? Such practical love and concern while somehow still remaining incredibly professional and organised.
I could go on and on!.
I will be forever grateful to him for saving my life
