Nice collection of stuff, reasonably priced, friendly staff

I always love shopping here. A lot of stuff in the small shop. The people are very friendly, helpful & kind.
It's also very easy to access.
Bus stops are just around the corner.
Around the shop have many restaurants.
The Jacksons Charcoal Chicken is very very nice.
Always love to spend time at Rotary Rummage Shop.

Wonderful, ever-changing variety of stuff here with staff who are friendly volunteers. Best op shop in the Eastern suburbs. Plenty of parking too.

A good shop not too crowded with stock. Staff very friendly and helpful.

This is a small op shop. It's cheap and chaotic. Staff are nice. Bargains to be had here.

Might be small, but they had what we needed - and clearly visible (to 1.76m me). Very happy to buy/contribute there. Price was attractive, too.

Great little Op Shop located in the nice shopping area of Jackson Square. You'll find some fabulous treasures. Run by volunteers, please be nice to them as they are giving their time for charity.
Wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. Good parking out the front.

Friendly staff, but unfortunately there was no baby clothing.

I recently had a mixed experience at Rotary Rummage Op Shop, and I wanted to share my feedback to contribute to improvements in customer service.
During my initial visit, I made a significant $96 purchase to support the community. Unfortunately, one of the staff members, packed my items without providing an itemized receipt for clothing purchases, which raised concerns given the number of items I had bought. When I requested a detailed receipt, she explained that separating clothing prices by item was not possible due to errors, which seemed unusual, because she added none clothes items separately.
Upon returning home, I discovered a $3 overcharge in the total amount. While not a substantial sum, I was keen on ensuring the accuracy of my purchase. Her dismissive attitude and refusal to acknowledge the mistake left me frustrated. The lack of a willingness to reevaluate the charges contributed to a negative customer experience.
Unfortunately, my second visit did not improve the situation. She initiated unrequested negative conversations without provocation, further adding to the disappointment. Despite our efforts to maintain a positive and respectful interaction, her behaviour persisted. Feeling uncomfortable, we just said thank you and immediately left that store.
I must highlight that, excluding one specific staff, the other staff members were respectful and lovely. I appreciate their positive demeanour.
This experience has broader implications for the community initiative. While I intended to support a good cause, encounters like these with a representative of the initiative left me questioning the effectiveness of community-driven efforts. Volunteers, as the face of such initiatives, should prioritize positive customer interactions to ensure ongoing support and engagement.
Inconsistencies in customer service, as evidenced by these encounters, can impact the goodwill associated with community initiatives. I hope this feedback is helpful in improving customer experiences at Rotary Rummage Op Shop. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
