1860 Luxury Accommodation

1860 how stunning! Everything about this adorable cabin was just divine! All the creature comforts.. Firstly the entrance, we sat out the front porch for hours.. this would have been our favorite spot! The bedding and furnishing's were lush! It was lovely to meet Matt when we arrived, the history run down was truly our pleasure! Thank you Gina and Matt for such a wonderful stay! We're so excited to return! A BIG thank you to 1860 Luxury Accommodation for having us for two nights this week. Although it was a little chilly and wet we had a fantastic time and would recommend your accommodation to anyone. A serene and truly cosy getaway which was just perfect. Thank you again!

We got the rustic feel but still experienced some of the modern luxuries. It was well balanced out. It was nestled away just nicely which was great from a privacy sense. It was only a 15 minute walk to the centre of town. Small things that was a nice touch was that the fireplace was already prepared, just needed a lit match, and a bottle of milk in the fridge. All the other usual things were supplied, soap, clean towels, sugar etc. Overall, we had a pleasant stay there. We’d certainly be open to coming back in the future.

This is our favorite DATE weekend/ BnB EVER.We are regular visitors and i LOVE it. It is special from beginning to end of any stay. From the time we pull up excitedly to the car park in front of the beautiful Birch Trees, to be met by a delectable basket of goodies thoughtfully packed by Gina, till when we reluctantly leave several days later, our stay at 1860 is amazing. The atmosphere in the lovely old building is so beautiful, the bed is awesome, the interior design is tasteful and there are thoughtful touches everywhere from the hosts. It is walking distance to some incredible restaurants and wonderful shops in Beechworth. You won't want to leave. I totally recommend this wonderful accommodation, you won't be disappointed.

1860 is a beautiful (lovingly restored) cottage perfectly located within walking distance to the town centre - yet so peaceful and private. We fell in love the minute we walked onto the property. Loved the rustic feel, very comfortable and spacious bed, huge bath and well-equipped kitchen. This was the first time we knew after only 1 night that we wanted to extend our stay. Lucky we were able to do so as this gave us time to relax on the oh-so comfy lounges and enjoy breakfast or lunch in the garden whilst still having time to explore the wineries, local cafes/restaurants and surrounding areas. It was very hard having to leave this amazing home away from home. Will definitely have to come back in the cooler months so we can enjoy the fireplace and cozy sleep-ins - I didn't wake up until 8am every morning as it was to tranquil! Thank you Gina and Matt for saving, restoring and sharing this wonderful cottage.

Absolutely beautiful accommodation - thoughtfully appointed, comfortable and cosy. We will definitely be back!

Incredible experience

Great weekend, first sight is a scare. The inside was amazing. All mod cons, best feature is the fire place. Worst is the shower door, can't open or close easily. Cleanest cabin ever.
