Amazing weekend spent up here.
The location was brilliant, the room was amazing, and everything was catered for..
The alpacas were amazing to watch and pat..
I couldn't recommend this place highly enough.

Millduck was a delight. The straw bale building settled perfectly in its extensive rural surrounds. Ada was a most welcoming host and the accomodation was spotlessly clean, cosy and comfortable and the little kitchen was generously stocked. Millduck exuded a homely country atmosphere both inside and out, and the alpacas scattered over the rolling fields just added to the charm and indeed the calm.

Ada is the perfect host! She patiently showed us around the property and told us everything we needed to know. There are a tonne of adorable alpacas who are friendly and as guests, we are encouraged to pet them, making for an unforgettable experience. The unit has everything you ever wanted, from a cosy fireplace to a massive spa, there isn't a single thing that it misses. Thank you Ada for the amazing experience, we definitely plan on coming back!

My partner and I had an absolutely delight time at MillDuck. From the second we arrived we felt at home and looked after. From the adorable alpacas and the beautiful walks on the property to the toasty fire and great spa, I couldn't have asked for more. I will definitely be back!

We had an absolutely fabulous stay! Ada and Prue are great hosts and very generous with the provisions supplied. The interactions with the adorable alpacas was a highlight so was the walk to the lookout... sitting on the seat looking over the undulating hills at sunset...just perfect! We're definitely returning so we can explore the surrounding area further and say hello to our new found fury friends.

We thoroughly enjoyed our short break at Millduck. The cottage was so well equipped and comfortable that we immediately felt at home. The breakfast provisions allowed us to enjoy a superb start each day and encouraged us to tackle some of the beautiful walks around the farm. The alpacas made it a memorable experience and Ada was very generous with her time in getting us acquainted with these lovely animals. Thank you.

We had a fantastic stay at Millduck.... I'm struggling to find a fault!! The views are spectacular and the grounds are kept just lovely by both Prue and Ada. They are amazing hosts who take a pride in ensuring the accommodation is comfortable for their guests. There is nothing they haven't thought of!! I would highly recommend staying here and the alpacas are just beautiful animals. Prue and Ada were very inclusive with the alpacas and we had a great experience watching a birth which I will never forget - it was wonderful and my little 3 year old won't stop talking about it!! We really enjoyed our time here and could feel the layers of stress come off the moment we landed. Thanks again Prue and Ada :)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Nothing too much trouble.
We were welcomed by Ada to freshly cooked Anzac
Biscuits and then home brewed coffee.
Ada pointed out all the facilities and explained the buildings-straw baled.
I would highly recommend anyone staying.
Everything perfect.
Plenty of breakfast provisions.
The vista absolutely beautiful.
Even got to see the sunrise.!!!Peaceful and with the sound of birdsong.
Thankyou Ada and Prue for such and enjoyable stay.
We will be back, maybe when its cooler.

Our stay was magical, this place has a great energy and Ada, the host is very pleasant.
The landscape is very special and the alpacas are everywhere. The unit has high quality finishes, super clean, with lots of complimnery things. Free range eggs, homemade sauce and vegetables from the garden is just a few. I felt very welcome there!

Millduck Bed & Breakfast and Alpaca Farm.
What a slice of heaven is this beautiful place.

Fabulous views, beautiful gardens and just the most peaceful place!

On top of all this, you can watch the alpacas roaming in the paddocks, or go for a walk around the gardens and down to the dam and sit under the willows. Perfect!

Great accommodation!

Millduck Strawbale B&B is an absolute gem. The setting and views are exquisite. The B&B residences are perfect, a combination of utter luxury, generous provisions and comfortable practicality. Ada and Prue are warm and welcoming hosts and very good company, while scrupulously respectful of your privacy. And the Alpacas, and especially their babies, properly called Cria, are charming.

We stopped here as a halfway point riding the goldfields track from Castlemaine to Bendigo and could not have asked for more. A gorgeous StrawBale house just toasty warm with the fire and a bath to soak off a long day. Ada and Prue have really put their heart and soul into this venture to make it a magical and relaxing stay. Incredible hosts. Thanks!
