Safe City Car Park

Ive used this car park frequently for every stay in melbourne as im from interstate and travel alot the owner is always helpful and good for a laugh . The staff have always treated me as family i would definetly recommend as it is a locked premises and always manned when open so i would say it is one of the safest places to park at the top end of the city

Fantastic service! John was very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this carpark.

They have wonderful service. We parked here for a Harry Potter matinee and were charged just $18. Very polite and friendly staff.

Pretty happy with $14 for parking on a Saturday, really tiny carpark but they parked my car for me, were helpful and it's really close to the hotel Windsor. It was all just so easy which I really appreciated.

A tiny little car park, but valet parking for $14 all day on a weekend. Can't get better than that.

I wouldn't be using this car park.
Too open & easy for vandals & car thrives to enter. They often have these dusty council street sweepers in there with the rubbish ducts open & today a staff member was reversing someone's car out without paying attd tion to pedestrians & almost clipped one.
It's just too small & insecure besides anywhere where you have to leave your keys is always a risk because I'm sure their conditions of entry will be that they take no responsibility for your car or it's contents even though they're driving them.

Check the time that you arrive as they back dated my arrival time by half an hour and as a result charged me an additional hour. I arrived at 11.20, but the time they recorded as my arrival was 10.50. Not impressed

DO NOT PARK HERE!! Its a scam and they attacked us with a weapon.

1) There are 50% cheaper option 1 min down the road.
2) We left our car and we were told we could collect it until 12pm. We arrived at 7pm and the car park was closed. We called almost 20 times until 11pm and they only opened at 10am the next day. We went to collect our car and asked for a refund and John said yes and asked our bank details to do it the next day.
When we went there the next day they pretended they didn’t know what happened and refused to refunded us. Once we said we’d call the cops John got mad and threatened us with a weapon (you can see in the video).
3) They keep saying their boss is away and can only pay us in February or March.

We filled a complaint and are still waiting for the refund.

AWFUL DO NOT PARK HERE. We arrived and we’re told they would park our car so we left the keys in the ignition and got out of the car and got our bags and left. When we arrived the next day to pick our car up they had lost the keys. We arrive around 10-10.30 and didn’t leave until 4pm our whole day was stuffed up. They couldn’t find the keys anywhere so we called RACV to let us in the car incase they were locked inside but they were not. (They did pay RACV call out for us) eventually they said we can call a auto locksmith so I called one and they said it was cost $550 which I told the owner who agreed we just had to do it to get the key replaced. When the locksmith arrived the owner was refusing to pay as he had found someone cheaper but it was too late this locksmith was already here. After more than 30 mins they agreed to pay. However my keys are still missing including all my house keys, we have a replacement key for the car to get us home which is more than 2 hours away. Awful experience.

A very shifty setup. Charged me $25 fir 2hrs despite of the sign saying $20, and the public car park next door is only $7 flat rate. I asked him immediately after entering if I can leave, and the guard said I’ll have to pay him $10 cash for him to let me leave. Don’t fall into trap, as soon as you enter the one way Little Collins street, keep driving to the car park next door instead of turning into Safe City Car park.

The worst car park ever
The staff that was there charged me $25 even though the pricing said $18. It says overnight parking, and doesn’t say an open and close time. The staff member closed the place down and had gone home at 12 and he didn’t mention to me that they are closing at 12 midnight. I had to come back in the morning for pick up and the car park was still closed at 9am. After I did some research found out they are open Monday to Sunday 6am to 12 midnight. The guy there told me during pick up he needed $60 because I picked up in the morning. It’s a money scam I feel. Please don’t park there.

Complete liars about their parking costs, when we came in it was 1 price and when we left it was double! He just pulled a number out of his head and you've got no option to argue the point because they've got your car and your keys. Avoid this place like the plague, they are exactly the same price as most other places, def more expensive than some. If you have to park here, GET THEM TO WRITE THE COST ON YOUR TICKET BECAUSE THEY'RE DISHONEST!
