Torbay West camp ground

This campground is very nice, well set out. Camp host very friendly & helpful. Best of both worlds, having access to the River & The Sea.
Great for kayaking, 4x4 tracks on both sides of the river for access to the river & beach.

They are the best camp hosts ever!.
They make me feel and my kids so welcome, my girls adore them they always want everyone to have the best holiday that they can.
They are so nice and always there to help. They are always looking after everyones health and give you great support when you need it. There names are Karyn and Brian. They have helped us by far.

Lovely spot, not far out of Albany. Good for kayaking and camping. Pay station for overnight fees that accepts cards.

Very limited spots and most of them are incredibly un-level. Some are marked for caravans but you'd struggle getting a 6x4 trailer into them, let alone levelling them.

I've seen other reviews around that says there is rodents of some description around, and we definitely noticed that as our dog kept lunging at something in the dark

We found this site on wiki camp, it is free till 2022 but there will be a fee from 2023.
We found this camp site extremely muggy and lots and lots of mosquitoes. Absolutely gross toilets with a weird soiled carpet in middle.
Other camp ground hosts were very welcoming, warm and gave us a little tour/chat whereas, this camp ground host was very abrupt.
I will not visit again.
