Lara's Spanish Hub

I have been a student at Lara's Spanish Hub for 3 months and love the classes! I previously was learning via an app and found my Spanish has progressed much further than nearly 5 years of self directed learning. The classes are interactive and fun! The regular dinners are awesome to meet other people and practice. I have had Caro as my teacher, and she is energetic and patient. We laugh and we learn. She is so mindful of how to teach, so I am able to learn with the language barrier, at a pace that suits me. I would recommend to anyone who is thinking about taking classes to just do it!

I would highly recommend Lara's Spanish Hub to anyone wanting to learn or improve their Spanish. I was nervous starting because learning a new language as an adult felt very daunting. I have been doing one-on-one Spanish classes with Caro for the last few months now and she is brilliant!! She made me feel comfortable from the beginning, has been very encouraging throughout, and makes all of the classes very enjoyable.
I could not recommend it enough!

I started with Lara's Spanish Hub as a part of work. My class continued on by ourselves given how much we enjoyed the classes. I used an app as well, but I learnt so much more in 1 hour than weeks on an app and had heaps of fun with Caro and Lara!

My partner and I have been doing Spanish classes with Caro for 10 weeks now and are going into the next level. We really enjoy them and have learnt so much. Caro has a very clear and easy to understand way of teaching and makes classes fun and interactive!

Last year I took some in-person Spanish group lessons with Lara and enjoyed it immensely. Due to my schedule, I couldn't take the next course in-person, but I was able to do online one-on-one sessions. Both learning styles are fantastic. In November, I attended a conversation workshop online, which Lara generously ran for free. She is a great teacher, her teaching methods and resources are fantastic, and the course structure and progression is very well-organised. Thanks to Lara and her team! I highly recommend this business to anyone wanting to learn Spanish, at any level.

The best way to learn a language is by having an opportunity to actually speak what you have been taught. Jasmin helps us to put new words/phrases and grammar rules into practice via simple (and fun) conversations with each other. It gets us up, gets us moving and gets our brains to assimilate new skills! Muy bien!

Lara's classes are excellent and fun!
She's a very patient teacher and ensures to engage the whole class and answer any questions you might have.
I very much enjoy attending her classes and practicing with other students during the group tasks.

Caro is adept at running classes in the 'zone of proximal development' - google if you don't know the meaning.

I was Lara her student 4 years ago. When I moved back to Perth I was so happy to find that she started her own Spanish language school. Lara is the best teacher I have ever had (and I've had quite a few Spanish teachers both in Australia and the Netherlands). Her classes are fun and she has created some really intuitive educational resources that make learning the language much easier.

Leo is a great teacher and I love the humor and different activities that he incorporates into the class making it fun and easy to learn Spanish. He is always encouraging and welcoming. I would have no hesitation in recommending both Lara's Spanish hub and Leo to anyone wanting to learn Spanish.

I love learning Spanish through Lara’s Spanish Hub. I have completed the beginners class and also a 5 lesson one on one course. Both where very helpful and I plan to continue learning with Lara’s school.

I loved taking classes with Lara. She shows a genuine interest in her students and the class was a good balance of learning new concepts and practicing conversational skills. I had taken Spanish years ago and she helped me find the right level of refreshing old knowledge and learning new things. Class was a great size to get to know everyone and feel super comfortable trying to verbalize your thoughts without feeling self conscious. Thanks Lara!

The highlight of my week at the moment is my Spanish class with Natalia. She is an outstanding language teacher who makes the classes fun and interesting. The lessons are well planned and structured so that beginners can learn in a supportive environment. Muchas gracias.

I wrote this review over a year ago but everything still holds true. I have advanced to intermediate level and have found the teachers, especially Lara herself, to be highly organized and competent. It's a thrill to be learning another language face to face, rather than only relying on online courses.

Lara is an amazing teacher. She has a wonderful understanding of the Spanish language, grammar rules, etc. and a great passion for helping people to learn which shows in the way she seamlessly runs her classes. I love my Spanish lessons with Lara, she is a great teacher. Always patient, kind and enthusiastic. We are always learning in different ways so classes are never boring. The best thing is that I never feel silly making mistakes and as such have made great progress. Thoroughly recommended!
