Karriview Margaret River

We stayed last July ( I forgot to write the review) and had a most enjoyable stay. Great location, luxurious rooms, and most friendly and helpful owner. Property is a work in progress to bring it back to its former glory but is still a luxurious place to stay at a very reasonable price. Ample grounds to roam and take in the beautiful natural surrounds or to play golf. Most enjoyed our stay and would happily return.

Hidden Gem!

The rooms are huge and very comforable. The view off the balcony was beautiful and the local bird life friendly. Our host Richard paid great attention to make our stay memorable.

The main building where the restaurant is located is beautiful with timber, stone and antique furniture.

I can't speak highly enough of this place for a quiet relaxing or romantic getaway.

Located on Caves Road, home of multiple wineries, breweries and restaurants it really is the perfect blend of being central to what the region has to offer, yet nice and isolated.

We will be back for sure!

Beautiful location with wonderful hosts, Helen and Richard. Both of them, and the rest of their team, tend to their guests with nothing left to wish for.

On our trip in WA, the Karriview was our first “real” stay. We felt good, at home, well taken care of, with two nights in Arthur’s Lookout. A large very spacious room with a beautiful view into the Karri trees and a large porch to relax in the evening.

There’s a 45min walk from the place to the beach in Gracetown.

Helen, Richard and team also serve good food for dinner with a selection of fine wines. Both, food and wines are usually local, which introduces their guests to farms and wineries around the corner.

We appreciated the talks with our hosts the most, always finding ourselves in deep conversations about food, traveling and life. We’ve enjoyed two very lovely days. Thank you!!

I came down from Perth for work and thought I'd mix it in with a bit of pleasure. I had the most restorative experience here that I was contemplating exercising squatters rights and refusing to hand my key back.
Richard, Helen and Andrew made me feel like Karriview was my home and were a gorgeous soothing presence for this city slicker. The room was divine, the breakfast was beautiful and the water pressure in the shower just right! My nervous system is back in a healthy place. Coming back!

Well what can I say, the KARRIVIEW is absolutely amazing, Richard and Helen and CO are doing an incredible job. The location is fantastic the rooms are very comfortable and Quite. The food in their restaurant is great honest food done well. We had a weekend getaway and I can't recommend KARRIVIEW enough. Thank you Richard you will be seeing us again.

Karriview is family friendly and is a great place to stay with high value I highly recommend it to anyone staying in grace town. There are many activities to do around the area such as surfing and many places to explore and walk. The rooms are divine with the comfiest beds and awesome views. We loved being surrounded by the nature and peacocks. The staff are the nicest people you will ever meet, thank you to Richard, Helen and Andrew for the excellent service and a special shout out for the coffee it was delicious. The food here is amazing, the breakfast is so fresh and the dinner was delightful. It had such homely vibes and will definitely come back next time.

Delightful place. We stayed 2 nights & and I wish we had longer. Quiet, bush setting but within easy driving distance of everywhere.
45-minute walk from accommodation along a track to Gracetown beach. Highly recommend staying here. We booked the room with the private balcony.

Our stay at Karriview Lodge was one of my all time favorites anywhere. The surroundings, as advertised, were gorgeous and peaceful, a bit off the beaten path. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. The atmosphere was laid back and casual, and the customer service was the equal or better of any five star hotel we have ever stayed at.

Richard and his wife Helen lead a small team of people for whom anything is possible. There is still some renewal work going on- the lodge is something of a work in progress- but you will not find a more guest-focused, accommodating and truly gracious staff than at Karriview Lodge. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

The place itself has such a wonderful atmosphere, location is absolutely great, with only 12 minutes away from centre of Margaret River and many other attractions.

It's a great place to visit, set back off the main road with trees and wildlife all around you. The hosts are very friendly and can't do enough to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The room we had is large and comfortable with a modern bathroom.

We loved our stay at Karriview! Just what we wanted: quiet, relaxing, charming and also, very close to everything we wanted to visit.
Richard was super welcoming, the room was clean, nice and cosy. Breakfast included.

What a great place to have a work do! The staff were fantastic, so were the rooms and facilities. Staying there you are centrally located near everything! All 22 of us are now raving fans after our stay there.

We have stayed for 5 nights and we are immersed in the forest and sensed with beautiful lavenders and rosemary fragrance.
For the next trip we shall stay one week to recharge ourselves in the nature.

Love the peacefulness of this place - came up here with the family to have a bit of time out (after losing our doggo :( )and feel fully refreshed. Great hosts, beautiful location, such clean rooms and comfy beds. We’ll definitely be back <3

This is a most magical place to stay in Margaret River.
Accommodation is enormous with separate dining and kitchenette.
Very comfortable king-size bed with extra bed.
The staff are beautiful and helpful and just left golf clubs out for my partner to play.
They recommended a wine tour called harvest tours which was a fabulous all day event.
We would definitely stay here again

Amazing scenery! Nice rooms and friendly staff, breakfast was lovely with great coffee and local produce.

We absolutely loved our stay here. It was nice and peaceful. The nature around us was breathtaking. Our room was very clean and bed was very comfortable. Staff were very friendly especially Donna, she made us feel at home and reassured us that we could call her for anything. We really hope the restaurant reopens when we visit next time.
