Wharf Restaurant

A lovely spot for outdoor wining and dining in the evening or during the day. Lovely outdoor settings under a canopy of tree leaves with views of the ocean and the Port. A little more costly to eat and drink here but well worth what we were delivered. Staff are friendly and have great customer service. Due to popularity they seem to be really busy and the only thing I would advise is that staff put a smile on their faces as they move around attending tables as they can be viewed as they work through a large open window. It's always lovely to see staff enjoying what they do as well as offer great customer service 😊

It a shame that you need to go up to the bar to order your food, but apart from that the service has been top notch, the food is amazing. I had the Barrimundi curry which was so tasty, and I was delighted there were no bones, huge portion too. The hubby had the crab and is still going, I think there were about 2.5 crabs in the portion. Would absolutely return to this place.

1/2 price delicious oysters between 2-5pm daily were great because we got to have double the amount. Atmosphere was really nice!

From the very start it was a great experience. I took my mother for dinner and it was perfect. The staff were all super friendly. The meals were stunning. A great all round Broome Experience.

In contrast to the poor reviews, we went to this restaurant twice during our week long stay recently at Cable Beach. The garlic prawns were delicious and their chips were crisp and salty. The barramundi was fresh, light and beautifully cooked. The girl taking orders seemed a little bored and disinterested, but she made out drinks quickly, and our food was ready in about 10 to 15 mins. The aoili was delicious!

We were surprised that when we looked up good seafood in Broome not many suggestions came up but one that is highly recommended is the Wharf Restaurant which we promptly went try, we were not disappointed, their Barramundi Wings are amazing, they go perfectly with a Matsos Ginger Beer too !

Highly recommended

Also the Oysters are half price before 5pm !

Absolutely beautiful food, fresh oysters, cocktails and wine available.
Plenty of parking over the road.
You did have to order at the bar, but that was OK.

What a special place. The Menu has so many options of amazing Australian seafood it is so hard to choose. Ate there everyday on recent holiday. Whole fish was very impressive to follow on from a table full of oysters. Love that I can walk up and get a beer at any time instead of waiting for slow table service experienced at other restaurants

My husband and I come to the Wharf on a monthly basis. We love both the tuna and kingfish sashimi. Chilli prawns and rice with Sambal is pure pleasure washed down with a nice white. Highly recommend.

Seafood curry is amazing! To be still hot until the last mouthful (I couldn't quite have all the sauce) was a treat. Crab, fish, calamari, prawns and mussels. The chef is to be commended for this dish!
Hubby had Thai calamari and salad. Also exquisite.

Surprisingly good meal, very hard to fault. Oysters with wakame were fresh and plump, kingfish sashimi was beautiful, crab spring rolls were ok on their own but exceptional with the dipping sauce. Beautiful fresh threadfin salmon and the chilli calamari was a massive serving. Very happy with the meal, service could be a touch better - eg mains arrived before entree dishes were cleared, but no big deal in the scheme of a great meal!

Absolutely incredible experience at wharf. Brought my parents who big on good sea food . And there were blown away . Crab spring rolls are must have. Chilli muscles and garlic prawns absolutely incredible . Staff were friendly and nice vibe at restaurant thank you!

Delicious food and friendly service, although it is typical of Cable Beach in that it's bistro-style, where you order and pay at the same time. Probably due to the presence of the outdoor area. A great atmosphere and quite tastefully decorated inside.

I don’t understand why this restaurant does not have a better rating. The food is excellent and the drinks are cold.

A wonderful restaurant we stumble across in Broome. The chilli crab was to die for. Awesome flavours and generous serving. The kids menu was great and the staff friendly. A must go for seafood lovers (our personal suggestion - WA chilli Crab 🦀 🌶 )!

Anyone in Broome area must try this place!

Lovely place to visit when in Broome. Great menu items at reasonable prices. Views of the wharf and harbour are spectacular. The cafe has outdoor seating under shady trees with gentle breezes to keep you cool.

Excellent seafood. Some of the best and freshest tuna sashimi we’ve had in a while. Grilled izakaya octopus was outstanding. And the turmeric and coconut seafood curry had the flavours of the ocean with squid, prawns, crabs, mussels, barramundi etc. Cocktails were fantastic too - Gin ones. Slotted us in last minute and the service was great also.

Really loved the food and service. The lobster was a delicious and fresh. A nice place to enjoy some WA caught seafood.
