Tong's Chinese Restaurant

It is quite wonderful. The quality of the things they cook here is comparable to those by big famous restaurants that I visited in Hong Kong. The choices of dishes are plenty, more than ten dozens, I wonder how many years it takes for a single cook to learn so much. For many times, I looked into the kitchen when paying at the counter, the cook is always the same one. Another incredible thing is that, they have the ability to cater to special needs, like replacing allergens with other ingredients that are compatible. Perhaps the Chinese people sometimes cooked for Buddhist and Muslims.

Its dishes are authentically Hong Kong styled. Everything is thoroughly cooked inside-out and are in big sizes in relation to the prices. The ingredients are fresh and taste well. Just like businesses of similar styles in Hong Kong, the choices of order are numerous. Most are of common Cantonese styles, some are localized(for picky Hong Kong people, not for obese Americans) versions of dishes from other parts of China(Kwanghsi, Peking, Shanghai, etc.) and other countries, i.e. Singapore, Mongolia, Thailand, Britain. The cook makes things out of many livestocks - pig, cow, goat, chicken, duck... Some common seafood is also provided - squid, scallop, fish, shrimps... The take-away option is good news for those who want to avoid crowds for health reasons. It is also an isolated building, instead of being part of a shopping mall. During my visit, there were few who dined inside, but many ordered take-away meals. However, it is a bit sad that it does not offer the delivery option - they say they did not have much staff.

Eight of us went there last Friday night. We were all very pleased with our meals. Delicious! Service was excellent. Best banana fritter too! Can’t rate it highly enough!

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner tonight. As someone with Chinese heritage, we can be picky about Chinese restaurant, however, we were impressed with freshness of ingredients including veggies, meat, and seafood, as well as the flavour of the dishes. In our opinion, Tong’s is amongst the best Chinese restaurants anywhere in Australia.

I am a regular customer. Simply the best Chinese in Broome. Actually the best anywhere. Stop umming and ahh-ing. This is where you go.

Food is traditional Hong Kong style. Flavoursom and delicious. Signage entering informed of wait times due the staffing issues. Wait times was actually very good. Service was great as well. Highly recommend.

Try the Fried Fish in Crab Meat Sauce for something like you have never had before.

Absolute whopper of a place. The food comes fast within 15-20 mins, their menu has a wide range and it's very reasonably priced. We ordered scallops, chow mein, garlic chicken, mango duck, satay chicken, Singapore noodles and fried rice. They came out and asked if roast duck was ok instead of braised duck, we were ok with that and they came out with a whole half duck, everyone's plates were piled and everything was delicious

The best Chinese in town. We've been going there for years now and it never disappoints. Fave dishes are Mongolian Lamb and Lemon chicken!

Admittedly it was not a busy night but the food was delicious as good as any of the little burke street. Cheers
