Highly recommend!
I tried on so many wedding dresses and couldn’t find the one… So I put my trust in Yen (the owner) and her team to replicate a wedding dress. With only a few hiccups (out of their control) the outcome of the dress was still everything I wanted and more. I absolutely love my wedding dress and couldn’t be more happier with it! The process was super easy too. :)

If you're looking for a custom made wedding dress, Envious Bridal and Formal won't disappoint! I specifically wanted a black dress for my wedding; and the team at Envious Bridal and Formal made this possible. It was very difficult (if no impossible) to find a store in Australia at the time, that had black wedding gowns on the rack to try on. I searched other alternatives, and considered trying on a white dress I liked and getting this made in black; but I knew the turnaround for a custom dress was quite long and it was hard for me to visualise some of the white dresses in black without a reference photo. So instead, I found a black dress I liked online and Envious Bridal and Formal brought it to life for me. The processing time was lengthy; and ended up taking around 10 months to complete. So if you're considering a custom order, please allow enough time. The Envious Bridal team kept me updated throughout and answered any questions I had; they made the process as easy as possible for me and checked in with me at each stage of completion to make sure I was happy.

The only negative thing I will say (and this is probably my fault for not asking the right questions), but I did have my specific measurements taken for the dress so I did think at the time that getting a custom design made, also meant getting it custom sized to my body. But because I am between 2 sizes, they made it to the larger size so I did have to have alterations still which I didn't really budget for being it was custom made for me. But just something for others to consider when having a custom gown made - please ask if it will also be made to your size at the time; or if alterations will be extra even though it is a custom gown.

Otherwise a reasonably simple experience and I was very happy with the finished result! I got many comments from the wedding guests, everyone loved it!

Highly recommend it to anyone who wants to design their own wedding dress. I had 2 dresses made but ended up choosing the one for my reception dress. Yen went above and beyond to create the dress I wanted. Thank you both Yen and her parents for being so kind and patient with what I wanted for my dress. 💗💗💗

Overral I had a wonderful experience at Envious Bridal & Formal while shopping for my dream wedding gown. The team were very helpful and friendly with me throughout the time. I enjoyed the whole experience, as the process was so much easier with them from ordering of my gown to the final fitting day. Also I was happy with my beautiful wedding gown, it was exactly what I had in mind and was amazed by all the fine details of the gown. I would highly recommend their services to anyone looking for affordable beautiful bridal wear. I appreciated their efforts to deliver my exact needs promptly.

Was looking everywhere for the right bridesmaid dress and finally found it here! Absolutely beautiful designs so flattering to all body types in my opinion and the staff were very helpful in making the process as smooth and easy as possible. Seemingly expensive but pretty competitive in pricing for bridal wear. Loved the end product after all dresses altered to individuals and my preferred colour preference. An all in one stop shop, so super easy ! Which is perfect for busy brides :) thank you envious bridal for the amazing dresses.

I highly recommend Envious Bridal & Formal to anyone looking for bridesmaid dresses. We have had an amazing experience with them. I contacted Yen and had our visit booked straight away, there were no long waits for replies (some places I contacted took days to reply to me). When we arrived at the store we felt no rush to pick a dress and my three bridesmaids were able to try on multiple dresses without feeling like we were holding anyone up. We were all comfortable and any questions or concerns we had were answered and put to ease straight away. The process of ordering the dresses was easy (which surprised me with having three bridesmaids with different body types) and I was contacted as soon as they arrived. Getting all the girls together wasn't easy but Yen was so patient and understanding. The fittings were done so efficiently and made my girls feel comfortable (I've heard stories of fittings going wrong but there was no chance of that at Envious) they were attentive to the requirements of each of my girls who are all different body types with different requirements for comfortability. Overall we highly recommend Envious and are so grateful to Yen and her family for all their help. Thank you so much Yen!!

The team at Envious Bridal we so helpful! Their dresses are beautiful and are reasonably priced. They kept me updated during the whole COVID situation. I couldn’t recommend them enough. If they don’t have what you’re looking for they have so many options that can be ordered in. The fabric of my bridesmaids dresses is so soft, stretchy and they even had built in bras. I couldn’t be happier.

I got a custom designed dress for my ball and the end results was amazing. I am so happy with my dress and in it I feel like the belle of the party. The customer service is great and they’re one of the kindest people I’ve met. 10/10 ❤

Thoroughly enjoyed my shopping experience with Envious Bridal & Formal. I found my dress for my second wedding on their website & had a wonderful visit to the store with their helpful staff to try it on & easily make my purchase. Alterations done in store also. The dress suits our occasion perfectly, simple but elegant & affordable.

I'm so glad I found this place, as their dresses are different to what I saw in other shops, and are beautiful and very detail oriented. The price was also pretty good, and they vere very flexible and helpful.

I would highly recommend Envious bridal. I have never met the owner Yen face to face, and we only communicated via phone, sms and emails but she was very helpful, professional and understanding as to what our needs were. She accommodated me several times with changes to our situations and always was very helpful. That little shop is a gem. We hunted all of Perth for teal bridesmaids gowns and found them accidentally in Yen’s shop. The service and follow through with was fantastic. I truly wish you were located down south.

I really enjoyed dealing with Yen from Envious. Right from my first contact with her, she was very professional, efficient, helpful and polite. Yen went out of her way for me and offered a variety of suggestions to help with my decision. I was overall very pleased with my experience and have already recommended Yen and Envious Bridal to a lot of my friends and family.

I enquired about a custom formal dress that was to be made but due to unforeseeable circumstances, the dress wasn’t able to be delivered to me (I live interstate). Yen helped me through it with excellent communication and gave me a refund for the deposit.

The shop also do alterations and I’ve been going to them for years. Such good service and friendly people.
