Hermitage Lodge

I like it very much. Fortunate enough to get the room with the little Kitchenette. Overall very modern and updated. Able to park right in front of the room entrance. It is the Hunter Valley, I was in a low car and there was a ridge in the middle of the dirt parking area that you need to be careful or it will eat your bumper.

We had a wonderful weekend here in our room overlooking the vineyards. The fire was on when we arrived the room was immaculate. Hermitage lodge is a great location close to the wineries and the town centre. It was perfect. Thankyou. We will be back.

Absolutely loved hermitage lodge! The loft is worth the upgrade! Feels like a Scandinavian loft. You have a TV in the loungeroom and the bedroom and a great spa. Highly recommend!
The staff at the front desk couldn’t be any nicer and welcoming. I want to go back.

Had a fantastic weekend away. Staff were wounderful and helpful finding local hot spots to enjoy.

This was a great stay! We booked the Bimbadgen Suite with the whirlpool on the balcony and were not disappointed. What an amazing location to sit in a bath, watch the vines and kangaroos, listen to a quite special bird concert and sip sparkling wine… really happy we went!

Sure the rooms are slightly dated, but are huge (and I mean huge). The price one pays is definitely appropriate. Would always go again!

I stayed here for one night wish I had booked for longer. The room amazing it was Cozy,modern and clean. I spoke with Nicole who was so helpful before I arrived she made sure I new where everything. Lovely place to saty I will be coming back for sure.

Just had a wonderful long weekend in "The Residence", and highly recommend it for a large group. The house is nicely renovated and the 5 bedrooms were beautiful with comfy beds, the kitchen had everything we needed for the 10 of us. The pool and BBQ were an added bonus, and the location was awesome. 10/10.

I stayed here with 8 others for my 30th birthday and it was honestly the best experience! From the friendly, warm welcoming staff to the amazing rooms and view of the beautiful, blooming vineyard. Highly recommended for a couple or a group getaway. So local to wineries, cafes, shops and activities (we did the hot hair balloon - thanks mum!) Will definitely be back again!

A simply beautiful place to stay. The room was immaculate and very quiet. The coffee pod machine ( complimentary) was a lovely touch. The receptionist was welcoming and so lovely. We will definitely return!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Lodge on our short wine trip to the valley. Nice room with everything you need in a quiet location. Great bed (for 2 weary travelers with bad back & hip). Short walk to the First Creek Wines winery for a tasting. The newly opened restaurant next door was an excellent and convenient choice for us. Did not need to drive anywhere that night.

Had a lovely weekend stay. Well equipped comfortable accommodation. Perfect wine country view looking over a small vineyard. Kitchen had the basics we needed to cook hot breakfasts and 2 dinners (steak one night, we brought the only the food). Friendly staff. Slight wear on some of the fittings, but overall a nice place.

We had the most incredible stay here at Hermitage Lodge. We staying the first creek room and it was stunning. The interior design and fit out rivalled so many other more expensive places in the area I was honestly blown away. The service here was amazing, we had a late check in after working late during the day so out key was left in the drop box with easy access instructions and reception graciously turned on our lights and heating ahead of time so we came into the cosiest room. The communication from the team was amazing and more than greatly appreciated. I actually could not recommend them highly enough and I was surprised that the rooms were so cheap considering how amazing our stay was.

Enjoyed the stay with this business, it was very peaceful looking out to the vineyard, rooms quite spacious and modern with your car parked out the front.
The hotel is located very close the Roche Estate or the main roundabout to most roads connected to Pokolbin.

A hidden gem - so quite but so close to all the action the HV brings. Room was modern & fully equipped with all the necessities - a great continental breakfast provided in the spa room. Sitting on the balcony watching the native birds around the dam & enjoying the silence & sun was relaxing. The on-site restaurant was amazing. There is a pool onsite but no warm enough for that yet.

My husband and I recently spent 3 nights in this beautiful lodge for our first wedding anniversary and we didn't want to leave! The room was beautiful! Out the front door we were surrounded by gardenias and sunrise while and back offered beautiful vineyards and stunning sunsets. The room itself was warm and welcoming and the spa was the cherry on top. The restaurant was absolutely divine and I'll be dreaming of that food for as long as I can! Take all that away and you're left with wonderful, kind and accommodating staff who made our weekend that much more special. From the front desk to the restaurant to the wonderful cleaner, Jenny, we couldn't fault them! If you want pure relaxation surrounded by the stunning Hunter Valley with dreamy food to finish your day and beautiful staff, Hermitage Lodge is for you! We can't wait to go back!!

Our stay in Hermitage Lodge was unforgettable.
It is quite but you can hear the melody of singing birds.
From our apartment we were enjoining the view of the garden.
There is a restaurant just at the same building that starts working at 6pm so we took away the dinner to enjoy it outside.
The room is comfortable and the bath tube Spa is nice.
Besides, there is a great winery opposite just 5 mins and they serve great wine for wine testing.

Our 1 night stay at Hermitage Lodge was a very pleasant experience. Room was clean and tidy with a nice continental breakfast included.
Lovey surrounds with a vineyard view and a crystal clear pool available.
Highly recommended.

The rooms are situated in peaceful and tranquil surroundings .
There is a veggie garden on the premises, as well as plenty of flora and fauna . The landscape is also beautiful throughout this boutique style of accommodation, which has recently changed owners .There is an Italian restaurant on the premises called Pescara which is re-opening soon.
We stayed in the “Pepper tree” room
Which includes a spa and a fireplace for the cold winters @ the Hunter.
Within close proximity to the Hunter valley gardens and to over 10 wineries if not more.
We will come back to this beautiful place for sure.
