Pokolbin Estate Vineyard

we booked the five wine and cheese paddle tasting which was amazing! Bobby was so kind to answer all our questions about the wine and how it is made! He even gave us extra samples of different wines to try. Overall it was an amazing experience and definitely worth the price, the place was great with amazing views and Bobby was a great host!

Excellent tasting experience with friendly service and excellent wine.

We went here to try the only Riesling grown in hunter valley and were to our surprise (I mean how could Riesling possibly grow well in these climatic conditions) not disappointed. The Riesling was indeed excellent and not too different form a good German one.

Started our hunter wine tasting weekend at Pokolbin Estate and wish we just spent our whole day here. Bobby was so awesome and friendly when he spent time explaining the wines to us. Bobby's passion for the wines and wine making experience really shone through. Would highly recommend anyone to visit!

Great selection/variety of wine in the tasting menu.
Bobby was a gracious host, and willing to address all our queries. Went above and beyond his role, and introduced an amazing collection from his cellar. He helped navigate through the complexities of wine, and expand our palette. Would highly recommend a visit; can't wait for our next trip to the valley.

What a fantastic experience!! Bobby was wonderful, very knowledgeable and very welcoming, we called around a few wineries for a tasting and they could not accommodate our party of 7. I called here and Bobby said to just come in 😀
Great fun for families as they had a kids tasting menu and a massive area for our boys to play soccer and have fun.

Pokolbin estate was the first stop on our wine tour. The staff were knowledgeable and welcoming, and of course a special mention to the dachshund who was extra precious! Bought two wines (pictured). Really recommend coming here, it’s a nice quaint venue that wasn’t disrupted by the hustle of larger venues! Great time

This was the 1st and best vineyard on our family’s wine tour for my brother’s 25th birthday. The wines were delicious and I had to stop myself from buying too many. It opened my horizons to what I thought I liked in wines and the staff were so lovely and knowledgeable (especially our host, I’m sorry I’ve forgotten your name but it was a tall gentleman who called himself a wine nerd 😂). Thankyou all for such an amazing experience.

My favourite vineyard in the Hunter Valley! Such a beautiful venue with super kind and friendly staff, but more importantly the wines were amazing. The Bella Rosa and Riesling are a must try if anyone ever visits!!!

Had a fantastic wine tasting at Pokolbin estate. Loved their focus on modern Australian wines and their passion for wine making. The Riesling was the groups favorite and we took a few bottles home to enjoy.

Had an issue with a purchase and staff were fantastic at getting it sorted straight away. Service was faultless.

Would highly recommend giving this vineyard a visit!

We had a really enjoyable wine tasting on a quiet Friday afternoon. The staff member who served us was really friendly and knew his wine, and the setting was really pleasant. Great experience overall.

Very nice wines and pleasant service, but with our purcheses we pick up different wine that we tasted. I NEVER liked to return any item, but my wife insisted, as the wine was to sweet for her taste and nobody would drink the whole carton. So we went back in couple weeks, and the young manager greeted us. We explained the situation and we honestly could have got a better professional service. We tasted different wines and we got exactly whot we wanted. Small mistake ended up with absolutely a perfect day. We would recomendet this place to anyone.

Great location to take the family! Outdoor activities for the kids, even junior tasting paddles with juices, great idea.
Wines are well priced and there is a gourmet food centre on site for cheese platters, would recommend :)

Had an absolutely wonderful afternoon here. Mitchell was a super fun and very knowledgeable guide who took us through the Pokolbin Estate tasting menu and even threw in a few extras for us to try. The wines were delicious and Mitch took amazing care of us. Would honestly rate 6/5 if possible, best stop of our weekend in the Hunter!
