Federation Motel Resort

Thanks Sai and the team for making our stay so welcoming. The pool and spa was a hit with the kids (and us). The BBQ facilities were excellent, no need to bring anything! It was all ready for us to just cook our food. The rooms were modern and spacious, and very comfy beds. We will be back and will stay longer next time. Thanks again. Tony and Regina.

We stayed at Federation Resort Motel for 3 nights last week, and it was certainly the highlight of our visit to Corowa!! It’s called a motel, but it’s actually more like a resort. There’s a swimming pool, as well as a heated spa pool, and there’s also a BBQ facility in a hut! The room is spacious and clean, and the aircon & wifi are strong! All these made our stay very comfortable in the 40 degree heat. The highlight of the highlight was the food served in the restaurant. It’s a cosy one but the food was divine! I’m quite a foodie myself but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of every single dish we had! After the first dinner we had there, we decided that there’s no need to explore any other restaurants. Later I found out that the chef is actually an award winning master chef from Fiji (no wonder!!) and guess what - he’s also the guy who greeted us at the reception!! So talented, yet friendly and humble! The motel is perfectly located at the border of NSW and VIC, so we did a few “interstate” trips during our stay to Albury (VIC) & nearby towns for shopping and sightseeing. Also, whisky tasting is just 2min drive from the motel, so we didn’t have any troubles trying everything we wanted to try :)

This resort-ish motel is a gem in Corowa. We paid the price of a motel, and enjoyed the luxury of a resort. Very happy! Will certainly return, even if it’s just for the food!

Federation Motel was a wonderful place to stay. The rooms were very modern and well setup. The bed was super comfortable and gave us the best nights sleep we have had in a while. The service was great and the staff are really lovely, friendly and accommodating. Everything was super quiet during the night as well. The pool and spa was very nice as well. We will definitely be staying here again. Highly recommended!!

Thanks, Sai and your family. Your motel was very clean and well maintained, and your service was outstanding. It was nice to have a chat with you. I'm very sorry about the mishap in the morning. I feel very upset on our end. That won't happen again. I would highly recommend anyone to stay at the Federation Motel Resort!

Spent a night here this week and they went above and beyond for us. We requested a specific room which some mobility aids in it and they were happy to accommodate.

The room was a wonderful size and the shower was great. The bed was fabulous too!

The pool area of this resort is a must visit! The pool is fabulous and the swim spa even better! Thanks for taking off the covers for us to use it!! Made a loved ones day for her birthday!!

Overall i cannot fault this resort at all. The owners are just wonderful and so friendly.

We really enjoyed our time there and cannot wait to visit again for a few nights :)

A very enjoyable relaxing 4 day stay- great host,large pool and spa, yummy food and very friendly service in the restaurant- highly recommended-we will be back.

Brilliant little motel. Really well renovated rooms with very comfy beds. Outside area with pool, spa, BBQ, etc. is also fantastic. Good wifi, etc.

We stayed here and couldn’t be happier. The owner Sai was amazing, super friendly and very accommodating his service alone is worth the visit.
The rooms were impeccable, clean and comfortable it’s a nice quiet place to relax and being so close to the main st is a bonus.
We come to Corowa often as we love the town and the fishing and we will never stay anywhere else.

Clean, friendly and professional! Garry & Cathy made our two night stay a joy, with nothing too much trouble. Room was recently renovated and tastefully decorated, and the pool was perfect in the hot weather. Will definitely stay there again when next we visit...

Must say our stay far surpassed our expectations. Rooms were even better in person than online (which is a rare occurrence at most hotels). Bathroom facilities were lovely and bed was so comfortable. Gary was so accommodating. We had an event so had a very late check in. Gary even had the heater on ready for our arrival. Cannot fault our stay!! Thank you

We loved this motel. Easy to find. Easy to park too and a short walk only into the town proper. And just the best room here, number 6. Beautifully spacious and nicely appointed. The bed was a cracker and we both slept very soundly. And, the kitchenette and bathroom and loo areas have been renovated in a really nice way. The shower was an absolute beauty. Just sooooo good. A final thank you. The motel owner recommended the Australia Hotel for a good pub meal and he was spot on. We had an outstanding time there as well. Terrific motel. We will be back!!

Just spent a week here while participating in an event in nearby Rutherglen.
Room was spacious, comfortable and quiet with all necessities for my week's stay supplied. The comfortable bed was most welcome after my strenuous daily activities.
Garry pointed me in the direction of the nearby IGA which stocked a wide selection of ready to cook frozen meals, ideal for the cooking facilities provided in the room. Despite the mainly fine weather, I didn't take the opportunity to use the pool and BBQ facilities on offer but they looked very appealing.
Before departure I even managed to wash my (very dirty) car in the convenient car wash located directly opposite the resort. Garry and Cathy were most welcoming and overall, I highly recommend a stay in the Federation Motel Resort if you are visiting the area.

The rooms are really big, and beautifully renovated too. By far one of the nicest motels I’ve even seen; they take pride in the facilities and upkeep.

Garry and Cathy were amazing hosts too; really accomodating to our group’s requests and we even managed to book their bus for transport from the venue!

They also called us when we left a few things behind… :)

I cannot say enough good things! Location is a short walk to the Cowora Distillery. Rooms were large and spotless. Shower was amazing comfortable bed. Grounds in great order. The owners were lovely people who could not have been more helpful. I highly recommend the in-house wine tour!

The resort is just beautiful, a great place for families to stay with pool and spa pool. Rooms are very spacious and clean. Best of all are the friendly accommodating owners, Cathy and Gary. They made our stay very easy. Would highly recommend and if we were to return child free, would definitely take advantage of their wine tour bus!! Thanks again!

Great place to stay. Clean, comfortable and a great location. A beautiful pool and bbq area. The owners were so friendly and accommodating. We had a group of 10 to 15 of us from Melbourne visit to do a wine tour in rutherglen. If we're back in Corowa we'd stay there again.

Rooms are spacious, well appointed and well presented. All amenities including heated beds which was great! Most importantly Cathy and Gary are amazing hosts who went above and beyond for our family. Highly recommended for a stay in Corowa and surrounds.
