Fairy Bower Sea Pool

Beautiful, worth the walk from South Steyne Manly to Fairy Bower Manly, in between you will find the lovely Sea Pool that is extremely well maintained by a regular Diver and the Manly Council really attend to it well. Tonnes of history attached and just a scenic and beautiful spot m, lovely cafe right near it and an all year round possibility to swim if you have a light steamer. Enjoy, well worth it.

Use the triangular 1929 Fairy Bower sea pool as inspiration for being at the pointy end of Sydney summer. This sea pool was built by local residents (and what a good idea that was). It has magnificent views (including from the open air showers), and a painted (non-slimy) bottom that made me happy. Great for people-watching with a constant parade on the boardwalk. Would return in a heartbeat!

Fairy bower ocean pool is a small ocean water pool with fantastic views of the ocean and Manly Beach and Shelly Beach Manly ⛱ great to relax and chill out to cool down on hot days 😀 there is much human traffic walking to Shelly Beach and back to Manly Beach ⛱ great location

The sea pool is accessible from the coast walk between South Steyne and Shelley Beach. The pool is well maintained by council and has room to sunbathe. It is close to The Bower Cafe and clean amenities. Picture perfect with beautiful views of Cabbage Tree Bay and the sea swimmers sculpture.

One of the best ocean tidal pools in Sydney. Has had a heap of work just completed now with the area at the end of the pool that gives plenty of space to lie down. Great place to swim in if your stressed about the ocean. Perfect spot with stunning views over CabbageTreeBay. Has been used for decades to teach kids safely how to swim. Really nice pool! Busy at times but you can also go swim on / snorkelling in the calm ocean next to the bower

One of Sydney’s finest rock pools, beautiful sunrise spot... toilets are nearby aswell. Great walk to Shelly beach.

One of the best pool by the sea in Sydney. Beyond the pool there are quite a few spots for snorkeling.

So giving it 5 stars as it’s a lovely spot and we would have definitely swam in it.. however we messed up the tide times so you need to make sure you go there after high tide has been so that it actually has water in it..!
