We had an incredible time at Jenolan Valley View. We had family visiting from USA and Switzerland and we wanted to showcase the best of the Blue Mountains and Jenolan area. And we found it! The infinite pool overlooking the mountains was incredible - almost a trick on the eyes thinking you’re looking at a postcard. Hard to beat this view!
The house easily accommodated our group of 11 and everyone was very comfortable. We had wonderful summer weather so enjoyed the pool but would love to go back in winter to take advantage of the indoor fireplace and outdoor fire pit.
I’d highly recommend this home to any other group. Especially if your group is larger. It’s not easy to find places that accommodate this many people.
We got to meet Greg and his wife and they were such lovely hosts. Thanks for having us and hope to see you again soon.

We stayed here with an extended family group of 10 for a week on the occasion our son’s wedding at a nearby venue.
As others have noted, the location and outlook are superb - high above foggy valleys in the morning leading into beautiful sunny views for the rest of the day.
An exceptionally well-equipped kitchen made catering a breeze. Comfortable & warm bedding and plenty of hot water for showers made for a comfortable stay. There’s plenty of space for a large group to come together as well as to allow for privacy should the need arise.
Some may find the owner coming to check the pool on a daily basis to be intrusive but as a pool owner I can see where he’s coming from.
Suggestions ? - more coat hangers.

Great weekend away with the boys after a hard season on the cricket pitch. The owners were great too, came around 2 of the 3 nights we stayed, The owner Greg was a total legend even came back one night to tell us that the neighbours had called the police on us because we had music playing at 830pm on a Saturday but it was all good because he called the police and said not to worry about coming . The pool didn't have a fence around it so it ment you could have a big run up before doing a bomb. 3 stars only due to not having rubbish bins or a mop/broom to clean up after our stay

Toilets are very old and shabby. The view is excellent.. The grounds and TV room are a good addition.
When the house sleeps like 12 people, there is a good chance not only the person who rented it under their name will do a review...

Wonderful location, amazing outdoor pool but the rooms can quite hot during summer no aircon also the mini fans in each room is a joke.

The house itself is comfortable but the host attends the house every night to "check the pool". This is because it has a crack and for some reason the owner hasn't had it sufficiently repaired, so the pool (reportedly) needs to be constantly monitored. Why they haven't set up timers to run the pump and do it automatically, no one knows!
Although the owner was friendly enough, every issue that we raised was met with lots of excuses and he tried to make it our fault. For example the wood we had been given was quite wet and it was hard to get the fireplace hot enough that it would burn and instead of apologising and giving us dry wood, he told us that it was because we didn't know how to run a fireplace (we all have wood fireplaces in our homes). Eventually he gave us some dry wood.
The house is quite run down and set up like a school camp, single beds in every room (no funny business at this house!), tourist information screwed into the walls, huge long dining tables etc. Make sure you also bring soft shoes because the concrete floors really ache your legs! The games room was a hit with the family.
If you are looking for luxury accommodation, despite the beautiful view, this property is not for you. If you want somewhere to sleep a lot of people, feed a lot of people and enjoy beautiful views, this house is perfect. As long as you don't mind being visited every day by the owner!
It was definitely like no other AirBnB or holiday rental that I have ever rented. We will NOT be returning. There are other options around this area that house similar numbers of people and don't seem to come with the quirky arrangements.
EDIT: correction from owner response, we were a group of 9 people, 6 adults and 3 children.
