Australia Post - Magill North LPO

The Chinese guy here is always extremely helpful and the other staff I've encountered so far have been good, too. Maybe the reviews that are negative are due to the guy appearing 'short' with you because the matter was simple, so he didn't say much? I don't know. I've never had a problem here, so far.

One of only a few Post Offices open Saturday. The lady here was incredible! Friendly and helpful dealing with my complicated international parcel. Thanks!!

Small post office that is good for quick visits. Post boxes available. Helpful, friendly staff. Limited parking out the front.

Enticing Candles (My e-commerce business) have been using this post office daily for the last 6 months and they are fantastic. Great customer service, always willing to help out and fast.

Consistently friendly staff. Variety of packing options available in-store depending on what you need.

Open a half day on Saturday which allows out of hours pick up which is better than the other PO near by which doesn't operate on weekends at all.

Small post office. Only two customers can be in at a time due to covid. But the chap behind the counter is always pleasant enough.

Bad place

Terrible service. Went to pick up my package and the counter person couldn’t even find it, and told me they’d text me later. They found it the next day, so it was there the entire time but they’re too useless at their job to find it.

I’m guessing maybe part of the reason it was so hard was because they’re completely disorganised and had packages sprawled across the customer floor area, instead of behind the counter where they’re supposed to be because they ran out of room.

horrible. literally went there to pick up my parcle and when i had forgotten my ID the man threw my slips at me and yelled no and shook his head. i get that you need ID but i had accidentally forgotten it there was no need to be so rude

Small and crowded. The middle aged man is quite rude. The middle aged woman doesn’t speak English.

Not helpful. Told me I couldn't get a receipt for a Star Track parcel I wanted to leave there. He gave me a hard time about it. I knew that was nonsense so I took it to another Aust Post office and they gave me an electronic receipt.

Useless. They're closed on weekends, so if you work full time how are you supposed to collect your parcel? No phone number listed and Australia Post automated system hung up on me when I selected the option to speak with a consultant.
