Ultra Tune North Melbourne

I cannot recommend this place enough. The service that I received from TJ (the owner) was above an beyond anything I’ve receive from a mechanics before. I had a flat battery 10 minute walk from the shop, TJ took the time to drive me back to my car, jump start it so I could drive it to the shop and then replaced my battery.
He was incredibly personable, it felt like he actually cared about me and he didn’t over charge me like I find many mechanics servicing women’s cars do. If you’re looking for a genuine mechanics that’s will also deliver a high level of service, this is the place to go!

TJ came to diagnose my broken car and was absolutely amazing. He made an extra effort to go get the oil I needed. Super friendly and knowledgeable. Really appreciate the service.

Very knowledgeable Technicians. TJ is very polite and has got lot of experience with wide variety of cars. He always look after my car very well and stays on top of all the services and repairs needed in my car.

First logbook service was done here for my vw golf, recommended by my previous service station which has been permanently closed. The service here was very good,. After the service, the car driving performance is as good as that from my previous provider. T J is a very friendly, honest and helpful guy. Will keep using it.

SOMETIMES IS GOOD BECAUSE ITS CAME WITH GUARANTEE AND WORK FOR LONG TIME... REPAIRED PART SOMETIMES SHOW THE FAULT AGAIN SOON but Good REPAIR MAN KNOW HOW TO FIX AND Repair some parts SOMEHOW THEY Reliable like ORIGINAL.

This shop some of guys have a super knowledge and life long experience....
You will fix the issue you look to get repaired... And they will show you list of many other problems and issues...
And cheer you up to get them fix... But always do your research (but on things can put your road safety on risk be quik to respond) but many things are gut life expectancy like brake pad they maybe say in 3k u need to change it... Means couple of mouth life on it and not immediately danger .
Sometimes they offer are rotten like u want change ur BRAKE PADS they say YOUR BRAKE DISK NEED TO CHANGE OR FOR HALF PRICE GET THEM MACHINE TO SMOOT THEM... YOU ASK WHY BECAUSE YOUR BRAKE PAD PUT SOME DENT ON IT AND WILL MAKE UR BRAKE NEED CHANGE SOONER .THIS THAT... BUT REALITY IS THEY SAY 30% thruth and 20%facts and 50% try get good sale... Because up to point u drive on same disk for while maybe month's... Then why its urgent now... Stop the temptation of shiny disk Front your eye as customer service show u as sample... Its will be dirty in no time....
At least there are good trustworthy and perfesional... Just try be smart customer...

Mani was exceptionally professional. He helped me service my car and fixed my lighting issues with my VW. I know the lights is a bit of a problem but he managed it and I was very happy with the way he explained everything to me. I highly recommend Mani and his team, we will definitely come back! Huge thanks to TJ from Ultratune North Melbourne who came to our rescue and got my car roadworthy within the same day. I was about to drive from Melbourne to Sydney (just checked out of accommodation in Melbourne) when noticed green fluid leaking from under car. TJ managed to diagnose the problem (failed radiator) order in parts, replace the radiator, test drive, stop traffic to turn car around on busy street to point us in the direction of Sydney and have us on the road again all in the one day. I highly recommend his efficiency, his workmanship and above all his empathy for our situation and therefore his efforts in working back late so that we could hit the road that same day. I had a good experience with Mani and Ultra Tune. We ended up in the unfortunate position of requiring a head gasket repair for a Mazda. Mani took the time to explain the situation with multiple phone calls and in person on drop-off and pick-up. The car is now running well and we believe the work was done for a fair price.

I was happy with the service provided (for a car servicing and repair of an exhaust) , friendly staff and fast turn around. Price is pretty good too. I would recommend to others.

Great service from Mani. Very honest and reliable. We had an old car which needed a number of replacement parts and he did a good job recommending what we needed to get replaced. The end result we got was a safer car which now drives well.

I had a leaking coolant and went to see Ultra Tune at North Melbourne. Mani was fantastic to look into it right away and diagnosed that the expansion plastic tank had a crack and need replacing. Availability of the part was somehow difficult at the time and Mani suggested if I was able to source it and he was happy to contact the supplier to ensure it was compatible to my car. Found one, I picked it up and Ultra Tune was happy to replace the faulty part and was ONLY charged for the labour. My X5 was back on the road within 24 hours and is as good again. Furthermore, Mani was kind enough to spare a moment to show me the crack from the faulty expansion tank and suggested that I keep it as there are other parts (ie. sensor, cap) that might be useful in the future.
