Buttercups Childcare & Early Learning Centre – Bassendean (Amare)

Buttercup’s Bassendean is a small childcare centre in comparison to the previous childcare centre my daughter attended. Small yet mighty.
We are greeted every morning by happy smiling faces. All of the educators there are wonderful, their care and passion for their roles and for the children is evident from the moment you walk in the door. We are personally greeted each morning by the educators.
My daughter loves it there and is thriving and learning every day that she goes.

My child has been going here for almost 9 months now, since he was 11 months old. This is our families first daycare experience and we’re so grateful to all of the staff for helping us all adjust. It is a warm, supportive and friendly environment for not only our child but us as parents. They were very accomodating of his dietary requirements, give great updates and feedback on his day. They always have new activities set up for them, celebrate all sorts of events and occasions and he always seems to be busy playing and happy when we pick him up at the end of the day. We’re really happy we chose Buttercups Bassendean :)

My 20-month-old son has been here for nearly 8 months. He learn so much from care and absolutely loves it every single time! I've been other centres but Buttercup Bassendean is beyond exceptional. All staffs are very welcoming, friendly, and make sure to create a cozy environment for kids, as well as ensure safety. I cannot thank Melissa, Davina, Kim, and all staff members enough for their dedicated care for my boy and positive approach with parents.

Highly recommend Buttercups Bassendean. In the short time since starting here I’ve noticed many positive changes in my toddlers behaviour and development. The staff are fantastic and there’s a huge range of programming and activities provided for the children. The regular updates and photos on the app are really appreciated too.

Our daughter attends this centre and she is always so happy to go each morning - she has a clear bond with all the educators and enjoys playing happily with her friends.

We enjoy getting the daily updates and appreciate the care that all the staff show, when we go to pick her up everyone is across what has happened for the day and share little stories about what our daughter has been up to or something new that she has learned that day. They set up different activities each day and there are different themes for each week so there is always something new. Our daughter loves it here and we would highly recommend this centre and the beautiful staff here 🥰

We have been taking our children to Buttercups Bassendean (formerly Amaré) for the past 6 years and have been consistently pleased with the level of service and support during this time. All educators offer sincere, professional service and treat the children with care and affection. Would recommend without hesitation.

My son has been coming to Buttercups since February this year and he’s settled in so nicely. The educators are lovely, helpful, kind and loving. I’m happy with the service Buttercups is providing and I’m at ease that my little one is in good hands and that he’s safe.

This daycare has been part of our family for the last 6 years. Our children have always loved attending, have learnt so much and made some great friends over this time. I have always found Mel very approachable, with the communication I receive very open and honest. Going to be a sad day when my youngest finishes and we don't see all their smiling faces every day.

The educators here are all very lovely ,caring and enthusiastic. They make playtime and learning a very colourful experience and it's heaps of fun! My kids have loved coming here. Definitely recommend this place 😊.

I am beyond grateful for the exceptional care provided to my little one at Buttercups Bassendean.

The educators at Buttercups go above and beyond to ensure every child feels safe, loved, and stimulated. Each day is filled with exciting activities and opportunities for growth, including sensory play, reading stories, singing nursery rhymes, tending to the veggie garden etc. I've witnessed the educators teach babies some Māori language, which I find incredibly sweet (my child’s dad is Nz/Māori).

I've never once seen a baby left to cry without comfort; the educators are always there to soothe and reassure them with love and attention. Leaving my baby at Buttercups Bassendean I can head to work stress-free, knowing they are in the best possible hands. I cannot recommend Buttercups Bassendean highly enough to any parent seeking a nurturing, safe, and enriching environment for their child.

This is my centre. The staff are absolutely amazing. We are greeted every morning by all the different educators who know every child, parents ans siblings by name. Our educators are immersed and involved, my child loves being here and does not even give me a backward glance when they are dropped off.

Mel is my absolute hero. She put all the centre staff through epilepsy education and awareness so my child could go back to daycare. When she told me that was happening, I sat in the carpark and cried ugly tears for the care they exhibited and gave us. I absolutely love our centre and how much a part of our family they are.

Buttercups Bassendean has the best team, we love that our little guy gets to hang out with your team! Keep up the great work.

I would like to say a big Thank You to Buttercups Bassendean most especially babies room for looking after my 14months old baby boy. He felt the love, kindness, passion, patience and care instantly with him settling in really well in that room on his first day upto now without even having the chance of going for a playdate/orientation. Davinna is such a great example of being a good leader on leading the room, she is so passionate and proffesional on what she does. Kim, Amrit, Olivia and Jaz who works alongside her are fantastic as well. We could not even be more luckier for our son to have them as an educator.

My son has learned a lot from them and we are a proud and happy parents! 🤍

We’ve been attending for a few weeks now. The staff are absolutely lovely and very supportive. We were concerned about how our son would adjust but they’ve been great at helping with the transition.

Lovely Centre with a caring team, great environment and activities for all age groups. We’ve attended for last 5 years, highly recommend.

Buttercups Bassendean have looked after all three of my kids since 2018. The staff very much care for your kids like they are their own

We’ve been so happy with Amare. After a tough time finding a centre we felt comfortable with, we saw a stall at the Old Perth Road markets promoting a new childcare centre in Bassendean and from the first moment we knew we’d found the right place. Our top priority was that our son would be comforted should he need it, and they really do deliver on that. I was surprised by how many other centres seemed to fall short in that area or just felt like businesses. Our son was fine when he started but from what I’ve seen cuddles are readily offered whenever there’s a child in need of some comfort. There’s also a lot of thought put into the baby’s craft or daily activity and they always have something fun and different for the babies to try. Steph, Kohana and Georgia in the baby’s room are wonderful and so is everyone else we’ve met there.

Great daycare, great staff I could not recommend Buttercups enough.
