Esperance Island View Apartments

Such a nice place to stay. Walking distance to everything. Very friendly owner. Has a self contained kitchen, shower was good, had a washing machine but no dryer. The bed is a king and us very comfy. Enjoyed our stay here

This has to be the best accommodation in Esperance by far in fact one of the best in the state
The facility is so good it’s brilliantly maintained and is in a fantastic location right on the beach front and has everything you could want or need
Six of us shared this contemporary villa and we all had an abundance of room, storage and most of all each couple had their own toilet and shower facilities which were all brilliantly fitted out
Completely self contained it was just like being home but the view was much better at the Esperance Island View Apartments
We were wrapped in the size of each of our areas and had great fun sharing the large entertainment area kitchen and dining facilities good for games of cards especially canasta pleased to report the guys won and now hold the championship trophy
Love this place well done to the owner and your staff this place is first class and spotless
We will be back again and again for sure

Well priced with great views. The bed wasn’t very comfortable but having extra pillows available made the sleep a bit better. Having heaters available was great as it did get quite chilly. The bathroom was quite clean and modern so I didn’t quite understand some of the reviews. I was very happy with it. My only critique was the kettle – the lime scale buildup was terrible. I ended up buying vinegar to descale it as I needed my tea! Wayne was a great host, very explanatory and helpful and welcoming. I’d definitely stay here again. Having the washing machine available was great. We did our laundry before we left and it made the transition back home and into work so much easier, so very grateful for that. I’d definitely recommend this place.

A stunning property. Spotlessly clean, spacious and whisper quiet location. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Wayne's. And Wayne was also brilliant to communicate with - and helpful in allowing a date change.

A quick and friendly checkin (with our room available early a bonus). And the property was excellent - bedroom had a king really comfortable bed with sheet and doona. Bathroom was spotless and large. Laundry was a bonus and using the hills hoist washing line dried our clothes in no time. The upstairs lounge, dining and kitchen area was really spacious and so comfortable. And the "little inclusions" like salt & pepper shakers were really thoughtful.

Looking at the location I thought the property was on the main road but it's actually in a side street making it whisper quiet - best night's sleep!

A few tips - Supa IGA sells great Mt Barker pies. Castletown Fish & Chip shop sells stunning fish and chips.

No surprise this is the #1 rated place to stay on TripAdvisor - sensational.

The apartments were booked out but Claire went above and beyond, using her own spare time she searched high and low for accomodation in Esperance for us and called me back with details of what she found. This was such a beautiful act of generosity and kindness that I won't forget. Thank you so, so much Claire, you're a truly wonderful person and the Island View Apartments are lucky to have you on their team.

My Fiancé and I had such a lovely time staying at your apartments we stayed 4 nights and really wished we could have stayed longer but made the most of the time we did have there! We were in number 11, the place was clean, bright and comfortable and we had a nice view from the top floor!

- Warm Welcoming, Informative Arrival, excellent restaurant, supermarket and sites to visit recommendation.

- Family of four, two bedroom apartment with everything and more than needed for a perfect stay. The full sized washer and dryer, refrigerator and stove, BBQ were really appreciated.

- Bedrooms are downstairs and large living area and balcony upstairs. If you can't manage stairs it may be a problem, but if you have kids there is a very secure gate at the top of the stairs.

- Very centrally located to shops, restaurants, Esplanade and coffee trucks, Great Ocean Drive is 5 minutes away to the most amazing beaches, the National Park and Lucky Bay are less than 30 minutes away.

The only problem we had was we were so comfortable we wanted to just stay in and relax all day! So we were torn to leave to explore amazing Esperance! It was a great feeling to return to Island View after a long day out!

We will certainly return, if there is ever any availability!

Wayne was the perfect host. He had a map of the local area he’d prepared with highlights/ notes to hand me with the keys. The location is perfect. Right on the water with views and breeze. Walking distance to CBD. Central to departures further afield like Cape Le Grand. Comfortable accommodation with plenty of space and all needed facilities to be self sufficient and away from crowds in these Covid times. Definitely recommend on all levels.

A great place to stay with warm welcome from the owner Wayne. He is a nice person and very helpful. The apartment has all necessary amenities, comfy beds and pillows, clean and tidy, and most importantly a great view of the ocean from the top floor. All of these are with a reasonable price. A must stay!

We are currently staying in apartment 2. From the time we pulled up we have had nothing to fault. Our host was helpful, friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the local area, asking our interests and sharing his insight of the area.
The room is clean, modern and has everything you need. The views are beautiful from our full windowed lounge room - right on the waterfront.
We were really pleased to find our apartment had a laundry (great for us as we had been travelling for a few days) and our hosts even thought to leave washing powder to make things so easy. We cooked dinner on the Weber and everything we needed was on hand.
We would highly recommend this accomodation and look forward to coming back again!

We loved our stay here. It was very comfortable, had everything we needed and was central to everything in the Esperance townsite. We took bikes and rode everywhere around the town, only using our car to go to the beaches. Wayne, the host was so friendly and warm, and gave great advice about beaches and sights. We’d come back in a heartbeat.

We spent two fabulous nights at Island View Appartments. As on our prior stay a year ago we were welcomed at Reception and shown to the appartment, and advised what was on or new in town (really good coffee shop and fish restaurant this time).
The appartment was great - heaps of space with all mod-cons and views out across the bay, all within 5-10 minutes walk from the centre of town and the new jetty. An excellent stay - again!

Amazing location right on the beach. Is close to many great sights and fun activities. Was very spacious and was able to provide all we needed including a great BBQ with a stunning view. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful and were able to provide information about local activities to get out and about. 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

I've been travelling a lot for work recently and Esperance Island View Apartments was the best place I have stayed by far! It really felt like a home away from home with everything I needed, full size kitchen, laundry, bbq facilities etc. Lovely balcony upstairs that had a fabulous view of the harbour and a fab private sun filled garden downstairs. Wayne made sure everything was perfect. Highly recommend staying here for work or holiday.

We are a couple and stayed in the front apartment. The view was glorious and the amenities in the apartment perfect. This is the only place to stay in Esperance, Wayne is super helpful and cheerful.

Great ocean views! Comfortable and modern with a compact dishwasher. Lounge and bedroom have ceiling fans. Lounge also has split system air-conditioning. Apartment has a carport. Courtyard is partitioned off and private. Close to shops. Will go back again. 🙂

Staff on arrival were amazing. So friendly and very informative. We didn't even need to ask. My husband had requested some flowers and champagne for our arrival as it was my birthday the next day. Amazing job. Units were clean and well fitted out. They had everything you needed. Top place
