Meridian Resort Beachside

Had a very pleasant stay at Meridian Beach Resort. Had booked a 3 bdrm apartment with ocean view. The apartment was well maintained with complete facilities in the kitchen. Will surely recommend this place to friends and family. Also we scored an extra night for the price of two nights while booking directly with Meridian Beach Resort.

The apartment (all of which are individually owned) has everything you need, including washer/dryer/clothes airer, full kitchen with utensils etc.
Most have outdoor furniture.
There is a common room that also has a kitchen, along with a pool table ($2), free table tennis, games, books and a huge TV with Netflix.
The pool and spa are both solar heated.
Please bring your own beach towels, there are limited available to hire.
There are a few tables and a bench on the front lawn, so you can just sit be mesmerized by the ocean or watch the dolphins, (and whales when in season.)
There is also a private beach access.
The staff are friendly and accommodating.

Just amazing! I would highly recommend staying here. We stayed facing the beach. The view is perfection waking up and seeing dolphins and whales swim past. Nothing beats that!

If you want Absolute beachfront then go no further. Extremely comfortable room with everything you need and a sea breeze on your balcony on a hot summer afternoon to die for.

We had an amazing holiday at the Miridian beachside resort. Kelly our host was lovely and went out of her way to make it a special time for us. Our apartment had an ocean view and the beach was only metres away from us. We loved using the spa at the resort. Our apartment was very clean and with a beautiful coastal vibe. The beds were so comfy. We would definitely go back for another holiday.

Excellent accommodation and great service. We stayed here for a long weekend in apartment 40. It gets the sun on the balcony from 8 am! So peaceful and quiet. The apartment is well equipped and very comfortable. Maintained well to high standards. Outstanding service from the managers Kelli and Kevin - thank you. We walked to Wallabi Point and also did some local day trips to Taree and Port Macquarie Coastal walk (see photos). Old Bar is a lovely, quiet place to use as a base. Will definitely be back and highly recommend. Ps: the allocated car park garages are a bit tight (old design) but good to have the secure parking. Just have to reverse park carefully

We had a weekend getaway here recently and we were very impressed. The staff are very friendly and accommodating throughout this stay. The rooms are spacious and appliances are well maintained and new. The place was very clean and the balcony provided an amazing view of the water. This place is certainly.a hidden gem. We can't wait to come back!

This is my favourite place to stay in mid north coast of NSW. Their oceanfront apartments have breathtaking Pacific Ocean views with a stone's throw away from the beach. The apartments have pretty much all the facilities you need for an enjoyable stay. The property also has a games room with table tennis, pool table and other board games to keep kids entertained. The apartment we stayed in was recently renovated, which was a bonus. Also, the apartment had a large screen smart TV with streaming access, which some of the finest hotels in Sydney do not offer. What's great about this property is that you can still enjoy your stay if the weather isn't in your favour. Enjoy a cup of hot coffee in the balcony looking at the ocean if it's cloudy or raining and spend time in the games room until clouds clear. I'll surely return again for another stay.

Excellent accommodation beautiful location and management very friendly and helpful. Had a medical emergency and was unable to checkout until late afternoon, they did not charge for the extra time needed to checkout. Highly recommended and look forward to staying at Meridian apartments again in the future.

We stay here when we come to visit family in Taree. The king beds are comfortable and the apartments are spacious and have everything you need with lovely ocean views. The bathrooms are a little tired and the road the resort is on is more like a pothole track, but that's a pretty minor issue.
Having a Lockup garage with the apartment is great too.
The resort management are nice people.
We are always happy to return

This resort is well worth checking. Beautiful location and clean as a whistle. Management staff are just brilliant. When visiting this part of the north coast, call in a spend a day or 3. You will not be disappointed.

Was reasonably priced especially for school holidays. We had a garden view apartment that had been recently updated and overlooked the pool. The apartment had everything you would need for a long term stay and to self cater. There were also many yummy cafes and restaurants close by. Quiet and relaxing, right on the beach, we would definitely stay again.

My family booked two apartments for the weekend and had an absolutely magical time in this hidden gem. Such a beautiful beachside aspect and great staff. Short stroll to the restaurants and shops. What more could you want? This is a top notch place to stay. Highly recommended

Stayed here post-Xmas holiday with partner - we really enjoyed Meridian and the proximity to the beach. Nice, clean apartment - neighbouring children can be a bit noisy and the pool is quite small, but the ocean views are amazing and the beach is great for swimming. Thankyou Meredian, we will be back!

Best hotel I have ever stayed at, and I'm pretty fussy. Private garage for ur car and more than enough living space in the apartment for my family of four. Staff are very friendly and helpful and keep the whole place nice and clean. Can't wait for our next trip to old bar. :)

Meticulously looked after resort with access to Old Bar Beach. Apartments spacious and have all amenities required. A great base to explore the Manning Valley from as perfect for families with outside pool/spa and undercover parking. Covid safety a priority here. A lovely stay in Old Bar.
