AJ Vietnamese Noodle House

This place doesn’t need a review, everyone knows it’s phenomenal and getting in for a meal is a honestly a privilege. It’s fast paced, noisy and fantastic. The staff, running from door to kitchen are so hospitable and make you feel at home. It’s not a place to dawdle and the food is beautiful! The flavours are brilliant and the portions big. It’s very affordable and during a lunch seating in Brisbanes CBD it’s worth standing on the footpath with strangers to secure a seat. This place had a plethora of regulars and it’s for a reason. Thank you so much for having us.

Amazing food!

Real, homely cooking that warms the heart.

We had 2 soups (one wonton soup and a pho) plus a dish of pork and rice.

Everything was volumey and tasty.
Not too salty, the seasoning was well balanced.

Freindly staff, lovely food that's full of flavour and fast turnaround for orders.

I had the rice vermicelli salad with grilled pork (Bun Thit Nuong, #14).

A nicely presented dish, which was generously portioned and had lovely aromatics of mint and basil. The pork was cooked to perfection, with a beautiful caramelisation on the surface to give some crunch. The penuts and fried onions also provided some nice added texture.

The dish was well balanced and refreshing.

Will look forward to trying some other dishes on the next visit.

Very authentic Vietnamese food. I really enjoyed the soup I had. Super tasty. Portions are really good and also very affordable. Not too busy and super quick service. Overall recommend this place for Vietnamese food!!

When u want Pho, go there. There is no other pho better in Brisbane City, and I have eaten all over Australia and only Melbourne has one better than this.

The staff is very friendly. We tried a soup Pho Bo Thai and we loved it!!! Very tasty flavor and a meet is very soft and juicy.
We've been eating Pho in Vietnam and in best places all around the world. This one is one of the best!

Best beef noodle soup in Brisbane. I like how the noodles cooked firmly and not saggy. The soup has it's authentic Vietnamese taste. Highly recommended!

Large serves of genuine Vietnamese dishes. Pretty much what you would get in HCMC only much bigger. Friendly staff & busy with regulars. It's a small restaurant so time it right to get a table.

Cheap and cheerful! I eat here all the time as it's outside my work. I recommend the beef noodle soup (pho) and spring roll salad.

Really really good food, my boyfriend and I always come by to get pho. The portion is large not like other Vietnamese place in the city.

I love the food at AJs - fresh, light and healthy. They are particularly known for the Pho Beef Noodle soups and I enjoy this at least once a week for the clear broth that has resulted from hours and hours of boiling and not MSG! I have also tried their different Spring, Summer and steamed rice noodle rolls. All very delicious. The only one drawback is that they don't provide water but other than that, it's close to perfect.

The food is cheap and filling.Chicken is really tender and the dipping sauce is spicy really fit to it. Rice keep their shape, not to soft or hard and the sauce on the down of the rice is very suitable with it.
