Casita de Campo & Casita de Bosque

A fantastic little cucina to stay in. The heritage of the building from pre 1900 has been restored impecccably and the bedding was extremely comfortable. With the fire roaring in the living room, we were able to sleep with one sheet in very cool climate. The hosts are wonderful and the setting was idyllic. Congrats Rudy and Maria. We will be back!

Thoroughly recommend staying here if you're coming up for a romantic week end, just wanting to chill or visiting the wineries. Central to just about everything. Our hosts - Rudy & Maria were welcoming and gracious. Our cabin was charming and very comfortable.

Spent the weekend here recently in a beautiful, private cabin with a double spa and fireplace. The hosts were wonderful and available if we needed them. The cabin is so nicely decorated. Close to Stanthorpe and close to the national park. We will be back!

I stayed at casita de Campo a couple of years back and I have fond memories of the little house in the vineyard. The cottage is straight out of Country Life magazine, tastefully furnished with brass bed, ensemble bed, and indeed beautiful marble and granite featured throughout. The gardens were full of lavender and bearded irises and there were rabbits hopping on the lawn in the morning. We appreciated the fire (firewood was supplied by the owners) and also the split system a/c. I thought that the local market had amazing quality food and flowers. I had rabbit terrine there that was the equal of terrines I have sampled in Europe. The region is well worth a look and don't forget to take a coat as it can get very cold in winter.

Highly recommend staying here if you're interested in visiting Stanthorpe to see the wineries. Only a short drive to Giraween National Park. Very clean, functional and gorgeous accommodation.
