Manchester Road Fish & Chips

Ordered delivery, food arrived hot and bag was stapled for quality control. The crumbed flake was delicious, tasted very fresh and was slightly crispy. 10/10. Calamari was pretty good very tender and the chips were nice, light and not oily and just the right amount of salt. Thanks guys

Have been coming here now for several years and it must be the best fish n chips around .The battered flake is thick ,fresh with the best batter ever ,thin and very crispy Chips done just right and plenty of them for order of minimum serve .Have had occasionally had fish n chips else where but don't come up to what we get from this humble looking little place .Better than many hotels and pub meals we have paid over twice as much for Am adding an update to my previous review . Having tried another local fis and chip shop once only I returned to Manchester fis n chips . It really is the best in the area for sure .The fish is so fresh and
tasty covered in a thin crispy batter and the chips are cooked just right . As my husband has oy recently passed away Minimum chips so I asked for a much smaller portion I was only charged a little bit more than the fish .

Best plain burger I've ever had in mooroolbark so far. I'm not much of a takeaway goer but wow. Also bought a sausage in batter and wow amazing, the batter was so crunchy. My go to fish n chip shop from now on. Customer service was great too. Very happy customer.

Awesome fish and chips and best in Mooroolbark. Best fish and calamari rings so tender and tasty. Negative reviews must be from clowns leaving their food out too long to become soggy. Eaten fresh, the food is great.

First time ordering from here, the seafood pack was bloody amazing, your batter is crispy crunchy and light. Clean tasting fried food not oil soaked and even after uber delivery the food was still hot n crisp. You have won me over thankyou so very much

This place is soooo good. I've never liked potato cakes before I tried this place. I don't know what they do to them but they are delicious.
Spot on for their grilled fish too! Not over priced. Always on time. The more run down the shop looks, the better the quality 😀

Lamb souvlaki is absolutely delicious! Everything there is very nice. I just have to point out the lamb souvlaki again! Sure over the years there’s been some miscommunication and I’ve gotten the wrong order now and then but it gets fixed up no harm done life goes on. Owners and staff are very friendly, I wouldn’t recommend ordering on Uber eats because Uber eats rip you off. It’s much better calling up or going down. it’s cheaper and you get a better customer experience. Well done, love your fish and chip shop hopefully you’re there for many more years to come !

Love this fish and chip shop--one of the ones that has consistently good quality seafood at very good prices. Read the review about the customer service but couldn't have had a more different experience--order was on time, staff happy to accommodate for changes to some items--even though it was flat out busy on a Friday night.

Sent the wrong delivery to our house but when I called them they were very apologetic and had the new order delivered to us very quickly and told us to keep the other order. Fish and chips were nice as well

Jeremy is the best give him a pay raise he gave me very golden chippys and crunchy nuggets he is very nice he smells very good like melons and lipton ice tea he has a very good hair cut he also gave me a free pickled onion and it made me so happy

Great fish and chips. Very fresh and light, not too oily. Would have liked more chips. Dim sums and potato cakes were top notch.

I’ve never had a problem with this fish and chip shop, always fresh and hot. Obviously have to wait a little bit longer during peak times but it’s worth it and all staff are always friendly😇

Love their calamari and flake, always beautiful. With so many fish and chip stores around I tried em all. No need to go anywhere else. Plus they use chicken salt!

My experience at Manchester Road Fish and Chips was quite an exquisite one, i found the people working there to be absolutely delightful and the food was divine. I remember one cold day, I came in to get some food and mourn the loss of my wife, the people there were so comforting.
I believe one of the people who worked there was kind enough to supply me with a hug, what a lovely lady.
Soon after I had my dinner, i stepped out the shop, but the staff called me back in to talk for a few more minutes.
So i told them the story of my life, and how i used to play basketball outside of school on the courts of west philidelphia. I ended up getting into a fight which made my mother fear for the worst so as a result she ended up sending me to bel air.
Well, the plane landed and when I came out
There was a dude who looked like a cop standing there with my name out
I ain't trying to get arrested yet
I just got here
I sprang with the quickness like lightning, disappeared

I whistled for a cab and when it came near
The license plate said "Fresh" and it had dice in the mirror
If anything I could say that this cab was rare
But I thought, "Nah, forget it."
– "Yo, home to Bel-Air."

I pulled up to the house about 7 or 8
And I yelled to the cabbie, "Yo home smell ya later."
I looked at my kingdom
