Karena has provided us with the most amazing life long memories by perfectly capturing our elation and joy on our special day. Karena was wonderful to deal with and her local knowledge of the Sunshine Coast meant that she could take us to places off the beaten track to produce incredible location shots. We had an absolute ball celebrating our marriage and we are forever indebted to Karena for being there on the day to capture and provide us with photos that surpassed our expectations.

Karena was recommended via a friend of my sister in-law, and both my husband and I are so happy we went with her. Altho a professional Photographer, Karena always seemed to have plenty of time to discuss our needs and give us good advise on all the aspects of our special day that ultimately gave us photos way better than we dreamed of, especially considering or budget constraints
Karena is obviously very passionate about photography, as it was so evident in the beautiful art she presented to us on the 'pickup day'.
My husband was especially impressed that we never felt rushed, and Karena's natural ability to have her "subjects" feel at ease with the camera.

As an experienced makeup artist who has worked with many photographers at weddings, location and studio shoots, I've had all sorts of interactions with photographers. What I've found is that the skill of the photographer to capture your images beautifully is not the only aspect that makes a photographer great. It can be scary in front of that lens and most people’s facial expressions and bodies feel awkward and frozen! Additionally, as a working member of the team the photographer either contributes to a joyful atmosphere and helps to create an uplifting synergy, or not. It's crucial to have someone who is passionate about their work, warm and engaging to truly bring out the Bride & Bridegrooms personality, and anyone else who is in front of that camera. It's also crucial to have someone who won't accept less than perfect in their own work and final product. I've had the pleasure of seeing all of these qualities consistently in Karena and her work over the last few years. Each and every single person I've done makeup for who has had Karena as their photographer has totally loved their experience, has loved their photographs, and has said that they she was absolutely inspiring to have with them throughout their day. Their photographs tell a true story of how their day unfolded, and she captured moments that at the time, even they didn’t realise how powerful they were and the memories they would bring back. All in all, an outstanding photographer that if I was a bride now or having photographs taken of a meaningful event in our lives, I would book above all others. As a special note, I don’t get any kickbacks from writing this review, I’m writing it so that people who are looking for that special professional can make the right choice.
