I went to Dean to get a custom board built for me and once Dean saw my boards that i was riding and watched me surfing - he helped me identify it was my paddling technique that was the core-issue.... - Dean didn't get a sale but he helped me out heaps and that has saved me heaps of $$ on a new board that i just found out i didn't need a board just have to refine my technique once i refine my paddling problem Dean will then review my boards to the way I surf and that’s when we will start the board shaping process
The fact he said it’s not my equipment it’s all me shows how how honest of a person he is I highly recommend speaking to Dean he’s knowledgeable of surf boards is incredible plus he surfs really well.

Dean has helped me progress my surfing over the last 9 months. Working on refining a board to help me progress my surfing faster. As well as taking the time to see how I surf and working on my technique as well.
