The Views

We went as a classic car club with over 40 people and this is a motel punching above its weight. The meals were delicious and prompt. The service and hospitality was fantastic. It is an old motel that is clean with magnificent views and management and staff cannot do enough for you. Terrific.

Really lovely meals, affordable prices, super helpful staff, great ambience and intimate location. The service can be a little slow, but that is due to there being only 1 person in the kitchen. The chef is lovely, so wonderfully helpful. I am vegan and she went out of her way to assist me and create meals off menu so that I had something to eat. The dinners are really good. The breakfast is a little meager - tasty, but you do not get much for your money (breakfast only, can not complain about the dinners at all). Would definitely go back here for dinner!

My car needed towing during my stay not only did they drive me and my children to the zoo , they drove me to pick up my car from Stawell 40 mins away. We stayed in the chalet it was beautiful
We also spent a night in the motel rooms which was as equally great
Clean rooms with all you need

incredible service and food. the slogan at the front door is something along the lines of 'enter as strangers, leave as friends', and it couldn't be more accurate. everyone is so welcoming and hospitable, the servings are perfect, it's affordable, the views really live up to the name- I couldn't reccomend this resteraunt enough.

Had a few meals in this restaurant over a long weekend, and they all had one thing in common: they were delicious. Friendly, helpful manager and a lovely setting too.

We ate there on Friday night the 14/07/2023. Wendy was our server and she was the best server we had over the 4 nights we stayed in Halls Gap. I had the lamb shanks my wife the steak and they were awesome. Totally recommend

Excellent food & great service. Lucky we booked for a Saturday night as it was full when we got there. Prices are reasonable too. Have been there both times we have stayed at Halls Gap and will definitely go again.

Great variety of meals at a good price. Ordered the lamb shank and it was great. The staff are very friendly and can help you with any needs you may require.

Nice restaurant with pleasant western and Asian food options. Kangaroos will probably accompany you by the window while you enjoy your meal. The service was fast and they will offer you some bread to feed the kangaroo which was a fun experience. Huge ground in front of the restaurant/hotel with kangaroos, parrots, ducks and other wildlife.

The food was good, the outside view is amazing (see attached photo), and the staff were very friendly.

My party of ten came a few minutes before the breakfast closed, yet we were still given time to make our order and even change it without feeling rushed.

We had the Garlic Prawns and the Rib Eye with Vegies, both dishes were tasty and well presented.
Michelle was our waitress and she was very attentive and lovely.

what a lovely view and great people. The food was excellent. We came across emues, rabbits, cockatoos, and ducks in the hour we were their. Highly recommended.

A modest-looking but surprisingly good restaurant, with food good enough to stand comparison anywhere. The Black Angus filet steak was particularly good - I had it twice!

We ate at The Views while staying at the motel. The food was lovely, the view amazing and the restaurant was cosy. But the absolute best thing about this restaurant (and the hotel) is the staff. John and Miss M kept us fed and the effervescent Tania entertained us and made us feel just like family (she's very nice for a Collingwood supporter). We can't wait to visit again.

Love staying here. The views are amazing, clean rooms with comfortable beds. Kangaroos and emus on the grass , nice play area for kids we will be back :)

Came in some expectation and I wasnt dissapointed. Food was well seasoned and cooked to perfection.

Nice meals - my partner had the special - roast pork, generous serve and the meat was so tender. And I had tasty pumpin soup yum. 5 star and worth the visit if you're here at Grampians
