New to the area, ran out of gas, called the next day to see whether they could deliver gas (although neither my partner or I would be home).
Not only were full bottles delivered that afternoon, but even had our gas hot water system lit before they left.
Local business, great customer service, very happy new customers.

Have not received our Certificates of Compliance, unit is leaking and dektite flu has not been installed correctly ( in fact it is held together with electrical tape, which I was told "looks good to me"), have had a qualified person inspect and provided report. We get ignored by phone and email are now having to pay fees for a VCAT application. Unable to use our heater as not safe and if anything happens we are not covered by insurances I would recommend going elsewhere.

If I could give a zero star rating I would but if I have to give one star rating it is because I used a local business and I didn't have to drive far (though this just dissapoints me just the same).

My mother spoke with Peter White, who owns the business about replacing titles for our home fireplace. The response was blunt and full of atittude, all because my mother did not engage Peter to install the titles himself. However, my mother was still willing to use Plumrite's services for the titles she needed.

We were fourth coming with the information required and were treated as though we were inconvenient.

2 weeks of a back and forth to work out the amount titles needed and to work out the metal plate that titles would fit into were just some examples of the service your company provided. Furthermore, upon collection of the titles, my mother inquired about flue cleaning. She asked about what are the steps to engage this service. The response was particularly patronising and just as arrogant.

I work in the service industry myself and was fuming when I heard the arrogance that Peter held toward my mother. She should have been treated with some respect and politeness. You would think that a business owner would know that a good attitude keeps customers at your door. A poor one makes them leave and tell tell 10 of their closest mates to never use or engage in their service or in this case, write a review of your business for everyone to see.

My mother is quite a tame person. She did not engage Peter to install the titles she needed due to her financial situation after the passing of my father. She is a pensioner and honestly just was asking for some polite customer service. Not a hard request.

I will never recommend your service to anyone. I highly recommend anyone thinking of of using Plumrite's services to go elsewhere, even if you have to drive to Bendigo or Sunbury to do so.

We ordered and paid to have a Coonara fireplace insert for our open fireplace in April 2021. It was not properly measured by Peter; we needed to constantly follow up and then when it finally arrived for installation in early JULY (4 months later) it didn’t fit the chimney as he hadn’t measured it properly. My husband had already removed bricks and reshaped the fireplace per their instructions, which left us with a totally inoperable fireplace throughout the winter. We have had to continually chase info and then be fobbed off, to the point where we have demanded a full refund. We now need to figure out how to restore the fireplace to functionality. Living in regional Victoria our fireplace is an important source of heat during the winter. I would never recommend relying on Plumrite to do a professional and timely job if installing a fireplace.

Peter is possibly one of the rudest people I have experienced in the service industry. I always try to support local businesses but I would tell everyone to keep clear of this place.
