Nhill Aviation Heritage Centre

Nhill air show. Great selection of planes and a couple of helicopters as well as 1930's and 40's live music by 3 great singer's. The restoration of the Beaufort was progressing and great to see DC3, Avenger as well as a Corsair

It was a great air show well worth going really enjoyed it highly recommend

Fantastic air show supported by top aerobatic performers. Lots to see with many aircraft. Well done to all those concerned, would recommend a visit next year.

We visited during the Nhill Airshow, which was a very enjoyable event for classic aviation enthusiasts. It doesn't have the exhilaration of the jets at a larger airshow, but is much more accessible and you get much closer access to the classic aircraft.

We had a great time. It was so worth it.

Wow, the volunteers are full of knowledge and experience they went over and above and showed us the communication room not on site. Stayed in grounds overnight donation box near tables. Please give to keep this place going. Toilets are clean and tidy at Heritage site. Dump point.

I went there when the centre was shut but it was a lovely place to camp overnight, a few people but was very calm and quiet. Distant enough that you can’t hear the trucks or cars, great place for an overnight stay. I couldn’t find the toilets but I have heard they have some open for the campers.

On our way to Melbourne We had a very nice experience with Nhill Aviation Heritage Centre. Volunteer Allan is so knowledgeable and we learned a lot about the history of this training base. There is also a Link Simulator there which is also very interesting. The toilets are very clean. Worth the visit. Let us keep this heritage centre keep going. Thank you.

A must see for those interested and aviation history and spectacular displays .
A credit to all involved in setting up.the museum.

If you are near Nhill this is a must do if you are at all interested in aeroplane or RAAF history WWII, a great visit with lovely locals.

Great place to park / camp overnight. Toilets open 24/7 at Flight Office building with an RV dump point also. Museum looks great but is only open on weekends

Great walk around old RAAF base which is very well displayed.

Amazing piece of history. The volunteers are passionate and knowledgeable and are happy to tell a story. We even got to use some of the equipment!! Highly recommended

Small but significant museum for Nhill. Wirraway, Tiger Moth & Anson. Aircraft and museum and beautifully kept. Staff friendly and helpful.

Very friendly volunteers who are happy to chat with you about the aircraft there and the old RAAF base. Worth a visit.
