Southern Districts Workingmen’s Club

Once you've tried cooking your own sensational meats on a furnace heated Hot Stone, you likely won't order anything else again. Great fun and incredibly tasty. The Club is a casual and comfortable venue, family friendly with great staff and live shows on occasion. The food is both affordable and delicious. I'll likely never try the full menu sadly though as I'm completely hooked on those Stone Grills! Do yourself a favour and give this place a go.

Last night, SA Variety Events hosted a spectacular variety show. It was a great night had by all. With a little more marketing and planning, we hope to see more happy faces. HUGE THANK YOU to all the venue staff who made our night a great success.

Staff are very kind, caring and friendly. Thankyou to the bar staff and chef who helped my Nan when she had a medical episode yesterday. She is ok now. We loved our food especially the soup and will definitely come back soon :)

Excellent food. Good prices. Good friendly staff and true family environment. I even took out a membership which allows further discounts on food and drinks plus a weekly membership draw for a cash prize. Highly recommend this place for locals! 👍

Went with a group of 9 on Sun 28 July. 1 man working, Josh. He was great. Barman, order taker, meal server gaming room operator as well. He did an excellent job very politely and should be paid triple time for all the work he did. The variety of meals we had were also beautiful ? Thoroughly recommend the club. Will be back soon.

Had a great 70 birthday party for 55 people in May 2016. Everyone enjoyed their set 2 course meals, and a number of us have been back their since as a group, with the same quality of food and service. This followed my wife's 60 Birthday function for 60 odd people in 2008 which was why we returned. Totally recommend this venue.

Tucked away in the back streets of Morphett Vale, it's a great place to bring the family and have a meal and a few drinks. Plenty of activities during the week for everyone. My preference is the Thursday night and the chance to win a choice of packs in the meat draw.
There are weekly meal specials, stone grill and the tasty schnitzels with a decent salad bar. Better than the local hotel.

Best food and friendliest staff ive had and met in a long time thease guys have got it right. Even have a salad bar some nights are for dancing and still have live bands. They know how to look after there customers.

So Pauline Costa you and your husband? (who also rated only one star I noticed) eat here for five years with no issue? Why not post all those meals you had a marvellous time with? Customers like you are the kind venues hate (and no I don't work for or have any affiliation with them)...happy so long as it's going your way, a stuff up and your loyalty dissipates like
fog and you do your best to punish the business who probably went out of their way on the night to apologise and make amends! They probably don't want you back anyway, bet you were pains the whole time but they smiled and were polite to you anyway.

Amazing food, fantastic staff all inside a perfect chilled atmosphere. Add onto that the very fair menu prices and you just won yourselves some weekly regulars 💜

Unbeatable prices for food and drinks, their stone grills are amazing. Mon, Tues and Wed you can get selected stone grills for $16! Salad bar is pretty good as well.

Eye fillet on the rock (Stonegrill) with pepper sauce and salad. Nothing better. I liked is so much I became a member years ago! Great fun and entertainment venue.

Good food. Won a t-shirt with my 1st. pint of Furphy. Then won a meat tray. The only place I have any luck. The band were good too. 5 Shades of Grey.

Massive meal at a great price!!! Had the roast of the day and it was fantastic. Highly recommend this place!!! You definitely won’t leave hungry!

The best value club meal in the area. Stone grills, burgers and the veggie bar are our favourite. Friendly service and quality food. Great job!

Very accommodating staff and a great facility with a projector and cable outlet in the wall, drop down screen and dance floor, along with bar etc etc. Highly recommend them for your next function.

I was taken here for my birthday lunch; the meals were fantastic and the service friendly and efficient. There is no doubt that I will be returning.
