Burdekin Cascades Caravan Park

Cascades caravan park is the only park I will stay in while working in Ayr, this place is simply amazing! The amenities are spotless, everything is always clean, Jess and Tass are doing a wonderful job, they even have a proper pizza oven!
The camp kitchen is always clean and tidy, can't fault this place, what makes this outstanding is the price, location, the staff, very down to earth!

Caravan sites are easy to access with drive through parking , it is dog friendly and staff are welcoming .. very clean amenities and has a dump point for grey water and toilet .. a great place to relax and take a break from driving 😀 close to the town centre of Ayr Qld

Over night van site. Clean neat and tidy. One down side is the woman that lives there and spent an hour with a hose washing leaves of the road,very wet under foot in the grassed areas near her.

Very tidy park with clean amenities and lovely well maintained gardens along with happy, friendly management. Drive thru sites also available. Nice camp for stop over on the way north or south.

Excellent park with the friendliest manager just a short walk to shops and a pool right next door. The amenities were in good condition and clean. Nice quiet spot to relax. Really enjoyed our stay.

We have stayed 3 times at the Cascade Caravan Park and have never been disappointed.
Very clean spacious amenities, well kept and mowed gardens. Excellent Managers (Pat & Mel).
Christmas Eve they had a lovely party with games and prizes.
We recommend this Caravan Park.

Such a great place. Super friendly and helpful service. The amenities were the best I’ve seen. The kitchen area was awesome and so well kept. Overall peaceful, felt safe, clean and close to shops. All at a very low price. Definitely recommend. Thanks for a great stay.

When you first arrive Jeanette greets you with a warm smile. The rooms are basic if your looking for fancy this is not for you. Rooms are comfortable, we had double and single room. Storage is small but if your happy to live out of your suitcase this is how it is. Bathroom has the essentials, toilet basin and shower. The shower is fantastic with hot water that doesn't run out. The beds are comfy you will get a good night's sleep. Rooms have a fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster, TV The rooms have ceiling fans and air-conditioners to rival the supermarkets.
Don't be fooled by the photos, there is a pool and deck area to kick back in with a bbq to enjoy.
Nothing is too much trouble, Jeanette and team will make you feel welcome and relaxed and can offer you their extensive knowledge, their service has been amazing.
We have stayed here for several weeks with family and wouldn't go anywhere else.
Price is quite reasonable, highly recommend if you not picky.

Beautiful maintained caravan park . Off the main road however very quite . We spent 4 nights with our jack russell in truly pleasant surroundings.

After a long drive and stuck on the Bruce Highway because of floods, we made a late evening call to the wonderful Robyn who was happy to greet us with a big smile. We also got to meet Garry the next morning as we were stuck on a tree root after not parking in the appropriate spot .
He was more than happy to help us.
The grounds and toilet amenities are spotless.

We were really impressed by the friendliness of both Pam and Barry (the caretakers).
We were given a good sized grassed plus concrete slab site.
It is centrally located to many restaurants.
The amenities were excellent - I was so impressed with their disabled shower / toilet. I have a daughter who has disabilities so was happy to see the extra equipment there which would be utilised by those who often miss out. Well done!

Lovely park with immaculate amenities , we had a drive through site, unfortunately I was a bit to far from my slab and in an instant Barry was down to see if I was alright and guided me in to position. The park is extremely clean with plenty of bins close to all sites. I cannot recommend this park more highly.

Recently did a trip to Paronella Park with my parters 90yr old Mum, we stayed one night on the way up and one on our return to Mackay. Robyn and Gary went above and beyond to accommodate us on a site close to the Disability cabin and provided the cabin on very short notice on our return trip. Pet friendly and super clean cabin and ammenities. 💯👌

Backpacker's paradise. Cheap weekly rate for an unpowered site. Full camp kitchen with burner top stove, fridge/freezer. Clean amenities. Super friendly staff. Cheap laundry on site. Highly recommend

Great little caravan park. Spacious sites. Spotless amenities. Nice and shady. Easy walking distance into town centre and right nextdoor to the public swimming pool. The caretakers couldn't have been any more helpful. A lovely couple that take great care of this caravan park!

we were stuck in ayr for 5 days during the flooding and road closures. our bus south was cancelled several times so we had to find accomodation. cabin was very clean and could fit up to 4 people. super nice and helpful owners. they even gave us a lift in the morning to the bus stop. highly recommend this place!! thank you so much

Very neat little park. Nice grass at this time of year. Our site had a small dividing hedge which helped with a feeling of privacy. The ensuite style amenities were immaculate.
