Sip'n Save - Commercial Hotel

One of the best chicken schnitzel I have had.
The schnitzel was crumbed and cooked perfectly with plenty of yummy hot salted chips. Service was quick and staff were nice. Great value for money.

Dropped in on a quiet Monday night for a meal after driving up from the city. Had been reading reviews of the schnitzel offerings so was keen to try. Wasn't disappointed, all three at our table were spot on. Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel is immaculate inside. I'll be back again next time I'm in the area. Cheers !

Fantastic service, friendly and quick. Great menu but it is hard to go past the schnitzel because it is so good. There are lots of choices of sauces as well and there are vegetarian options.

Friendly and understanding staff when a flat battery meant we were late for our booking. Best pork roast ever and only $22. Son's $25 lunch pictured.

Best ever bottle shop! My dog enjoys the experience more than I, the staff are amazing and always have time to stop and give her a treat!! Love it..

This is one of the best hotels I have been to in a long time.
The entree serve of onion rings was far bigger than I expected.
My wife had the beef brisket and you could tell that it was going to be tender just by looking at it and she was not disappointed.
I had the seafood plate I found the fish a little bit oily it could of been drained a bit more before serving.
The staff on the day were very friendly and service was promt.
I would highly recommend this hotel

We dined here each night whilst staying at Strathalbyn. Loved the stonework on the inside. The pub has two sittings. On the first night we were able to get in on the first but second night later. Both nights were not crowded or noisy.
They had a great choice on the menu and we took advantage of the half serve schnitzel’s which were just the correct size for us.
Definitely recommended.

Great service and great food. If looking for a good schnitzel then have to try the commercial, lots of choices we will be back for sure.

2 of us had chicken carbonara schnitzel served with fries and salad garnish.
Our host also had a chicken schnitzel topped with mushroom gravy served with chips and the salad garnish.

These are great value any lunch or dinner.

So much better value than the Victoria hotel as they are larger very filling and $17 on Thursday toppings extra.

We didn't know about Thursday schnitzel night but it's now noted.

We are definitely going back again.

Great little country town pub with awesome food, had lunch there with our 3 boyz & my wife, couldn't finish our meals, big, filling but bloody yummy with great service

Had the chance to have lunch at this pub in Stathalbyn. Friendly staff, a good menu and prompt service. We enjoyed the mains of roast pork and chicken schnitzel with mushroom sauce. Serves were generous and the food was tasty. Roasted veggies with the roast were excellent. Serving size of the salad with the schnitzel was ample and it included beetroot! Well worth a visit.

What a gorgeous little bar. The ladies behind are just amazing - I can be difficult because I think out loud.

I’ve worked in hospitality and know that there are other places these women would rather be, but they’re here serving my dinner instead if their own family.

Just had lunch at commercial Hotel. I had beef schnitty, surf and turf. Schnitzel was absolutely awesome 👌. Garlic sauce with prawn/ squid 🐙 cooked to perfection.. chips were awesome.. thanks

Been a regular for awhile now and just love the place. Super consistent meals that are always great. friendly service just adds to the experience. Won’t disappoint.
