Mullumbimby Pet Shop

This shop and the owner and her employees are amazing. Forget what mable said in their post about the fish, its simply not true. For anyones information the beta fish (siamese fighting fish)’s natural habitat is filthy gunky shallow ponds of water found mostly in rice fields. They often live in very low oxygen water and cannot see a thing. So to grow up in clean fresh and bigger tanks than what they would have in asia, is a blessing!
Sal (the owner) is…… amazing. She is very wholesome and community based, everyone knows sal and only has top things to say. She cares for every single one of those pets in a tender manner.
Sal has everything! All your foods, collars, bird stuff incl toys, pour your own bird seed area, lots of fish doing realy well! Beutiful birds and everyone brings their pets in even to just come say hi!

Sal, we love you and the shop, and dont listen to the haters. You are our go-to!

Small pet shop but well stocked. Friendly staff are always busy looking after the animals, replenishing stock and cleaning. I can browse for as long as I want without feeling awkward. Don’t be shy asking for help if you need it . Sally and Lily are happy to answer your questions . If they don’t have what you want they will happily order it for you.

Sally has a gift with animals as well as people. Experienced and professional. Best pet shop I have ever been to.

Sally goes above and beyond for her customers. We love dropping in and giving the shop mascot "Zeppelin", the lab cross a pat. I have always received great advice and fair prices from Mullum pets.
