This company cares nothing about the environment or the communities it is destroying with its greed. The so-called 'optimisation plan' for Mount Pleasant near Muswellbrook (a misnomer if ever there was one) is set to further degrade the landscape around Muswellbrook and Aberdeen and fill the air with even more dust. It's not enough that Muswellbrook already has the worst air quality in the state, with the support of the state government, this company will create more gaping holes in our beautiful valley, poison the air our children breathe and pump more CO2 into the environment at a time when climate change is reaching crisis point. But as long as the company continues to rake in record profits I guess that makes it all OK, right?
