Jam Corner

The food was delicious and very high quality. However some more vegetarian and vegan options would be great. I still give them 5 stars, because the options they had were amazing.

We went for our anniversary last week.
We always have the 5 course menu and wine. You can't go wrong. Well, I don't think one can ever go wrong at Jam Corner. It's our favourite restaurant in town.
The food is amazing and the staff is extremely kind. Great atmosphere as well.

I was very fortunate that Jam Corner were able to fit me in on a Saturday night with no notice. I tried the tasting menu with matched wines, and it was sensational. The food portions and the wine pours were very generous portions and great value for money. The lamb loin and the duck were particular standouts, but honestly the whole menu was amazing. Also a special note to the staff being friendly and attentive despite being short staffed and literally running during service. Can’t wait to return.

Been here a couple times now and have tried a good selection by now. Really enjoyed myself both times. Food was great and the atmosphere was sophisticated and classy. Service was prompt and professional. Holly serviced us at our last visit and she was very helpful in helping decide our meals/cocktail and her recommendations were spot on.

This place was amazing, couldn’t find a fault in anything with my experience here on Friday night, absolutely blown away. First time dining here and hands down best experience all round with everything. The lava cake omg the lava cake must have.

Wonderful food and even more wonderful service. The staff knew all about the food and wine they served and as I was dining alone stopped for a quick chat a couple of times between serving other people which made me feel incredibly welcome. Well worth a visit if you are in Townsville

I visited on a Tuesday evening. The restaurant has a lovely subdued lighting and matching decor which simply alludes fine dining. I had a glass of Mornington Chardonnay which was beautiful with a pleasing palate and lovely notes on the nose. Very smooth on the throat as well. I ordered the scallops for entree and ravioli for mains. They proved excellent choices and completed a wonderful dining experience.

We entertained 13 of our friends for lunch yesterday to celebrate my husband’s 75th birthday. We wanted a warm, welcoming, casual affair and that was exactly what we good. 3 course set menu with ample choice. Food was great, service was great and the room we were set up in was private and classy. We believe everyone that attended was as happy as we were.

Just had a beautiful dinner at this restaurant! Didn't have any of the main dishes as I loved the sound of the two entrées pictured in this review. Both were flavourful and so beautifully presented! Tiramusi was gorgeous also, but a little hard to eat because of the chocolate dome it was sitting in. Atmosphere was beautiful, sitting inside wasn't like sitting in a fridge, and the staff was so nice and checked in on us to make sure we were enjoying our time there. Couldn't recommend this place more!

A lovely restaurant that has been a staple of the Townsville dinning experience for years. We had breakfast here on our last visit and it was a really nice experience. The staff were very helpful with my partners allergies and the service was quick, definitely recommend.

A busy share plate restaurant. Excellent standard, varied offerings and a good wine selection. The lava cake was a desert worth waiting for.

Jam is an amazing restaurant with food to die for! We had the 5 course menu with wine, and everything was close to perfect, including waiting staff. It must be said that it is obvious that the staff gets trained very well in their job, a refreshing difference to oversea's backpackers who try to make a buck.
We had a table outside which was lovely in the balmy weather. Only some idiots roaring their car engines spoiled the otherwise beautiful setting.

Pricy, booking necesarry (dimmi), worth it. Maybe the best breakfast, we got in australia. The do small servings (for kids) to a reduced price also.

I had breakfast here and Jam is one of the only establishments open on Sunday morning. I was glad for the lack of choices because the food and coffee were excellent. Although it was busy (8am) the service was efficient and I didn't wait long for my order.

The prices are a little higher than average if you consider extras, although you are paying for quality, not an average cafe.

A gave Jam full marks with 5 stars because of the overall experience and excellent service. I'd very much like to dine again.

Since the first time I've walked by I finally had to stop in and very happy I did. From the first encounter with the staff it was comfortable and friendly atmosphere. The view isn't so bad, watching the world pass by as you sip your tea/coffee. My breakfast was so much better than I thought and definitely different than most restuarant style breakfasts. Very busy and popular with the locals and obviously the tourist like myself. It was a lovely meal and a nice way to start my day after a climb up castle hill.

Lovely experience recently with work colleagues. Totally recommend for long lunches.
