Came here the second time and it was just as good as our first. The service was excellent, Cerys was attentive and looked after us well. The quality of food was good and the portion size was just right. The experience was very enjoyable and we will definitely be back.

Everything is delicious here, from the beautifully grilled octopus skewers to morton bay bug pasta to duck breast with rich jus. Kid friendly with generous portions for kids meals and excellent service.

Lovely restaurant and by far one of my favourites in the area. The space is a perfect balance of contemporary and old-school Italian with food to match.

Pastas are a standout - particular the prawn special I had on my most recent visit - but starters are good too. I do wish the zucchini flowers were less fried and more filled but the anchovy on top was a nice touch. Cocktails are also good with lots of variety.

First time eating here and it was delicious! The venue is small, intimate and very cosy while at the same time being open and modern. We had a late booking 8:30pm, and on arrival there was a sweet elderly couple at are table that we had to wait for. We didn’t mind as the staff were lovely and gave us a chance to see some of the dishes that were coming out. We were then offered drinks and soon after that our table was ready.
The starters we had were delicious, fresh and you could tell the ingredients they use are of high quality. The burrata was beyond! The pasta dishes are stand out, flavoursome, fresh and one of the first places I’ve not needed extra seasoning! We were very spoilt by the staff (because we waited for our table to be ready) they gave us the most delicious dessert to share and an equally lovely digestive drink after that. And a shout out to the staff especially the head waiter!
Thanks for a wonderful evening of food, wine and laughter. Bellissimo!

This is a great local restaurant with a good range of meal options and a large wine list.
We had the oysters to start, which were delicious, followed by the octopus and prawn sliders, both of which were great.
For mains, we both had the veal cotoletta, and again, these tasted amazing plus the charred broccoloni.
For dessert, we ordered the tiramisu and the bombe Alaska, and both were to die for.
We've eaten here twice prior, but this time in May 2023 was by far the best.
We ate our food with a bottle of French pilot noir.
My only issue with this restaurant is that they need to crank up the heating as its cold!
Staff are all friendly and helpful.
Otherwise, everything is amazing, and I can't wait to return!

Spontaneous date night and hubby flukes this restaurant and last minute booking. The food was exquisitely delicious! We ordered the Tasmanian oysters with a citrus vinaigrette and the king prawn dish which was served with beetroot, goat cheese, crispy sage, roasted nuts and burnt butter sauce for starters. Tonight’s specials were an older (longer processed) mozerella entree and the Hapuka fish for main (to share). We had no room left for dessert but we will be back again that’s certain. Our waitress Jan was also very lovely.
The only thing missing was perhaps a bit of lo-fi dining music to enhance the ambience, but the volume of chatter amongst other diners/guests was subtle and pleasant.

We have dined here for lunch and dinner with kids and as a couple. The staff are very attentive and friendly. The service is good and the chef “delivers”. The flavours have been well balanced in any dish we have ever ordered. The wines are great and bubbles always on the menu. Truly a local restaurant delivering authentic food to the people of Malvern and surroundings. Suitable for small functions.

Been here with friends and it was an absolute blissful experience!
The food was simply great, we ordered a bit of everything and then shared it (only got pics of entrees as we literally devoured the mains). There was not one single dish that wasn't full of flavour, yet delicate.
As many before me I can't take the beetroot ravioli out of my mind, shame the portion size is not tailored to my preference, but fair enough.
Besides this, waiting time was very reasonable, and I was really impressed with the service, finally professional and passionate people who know their stuff (I asked a few detailed questions about menu items and they knew it thoroughly).
Also got treats with beautiful Italian wine. Not to mention the bread...omg I think I want to come back already!

Had fantastic service from Cecilia and Elvis, they were friendly, helpful and accommodating, and didn’t mind all the questions I asked.
The olives are too die for and the anchovies were delicious! Kicking myself for not having gone here sooner but will definitely become a regular now!

Great food and very good service. Mentioned to waiter that we intended to share mains and they were brought out over two courses already split to share, great work!

Wine list is totally foreign wines so brush up on your Nebbiollo prior to visiting.

Food is always excellent, the decor has a unique feel, but it is the staff and their knowledge and selection of wine always leaves us completely blown away! Beautiful location across the road from Central Park, lucky to have this one so close!

We had a appointment nearby and, purely on impulse, I took my grandaughter (who is gluten free) to Riserva for lunch yesterday. What an absolute delight - ambience, service and food all perfect. I dreamt of my beetroot ravioli all night - sensational. I'll definitely be bringing my friends here. Ruth Irving

One of my favourite restaurants in all melbourne. The atmosphere is amazing, it’s a cozy nice place with an European feeling. Location is really accesible and convenient. The service is always on top, friendly and professional, and not to talk about the food and the wine, with are just amazing. Enjoy every time I come and totally recommended to come for a nice time.

I highly recommend here if you like an amazing Italian food. Beef tartare for entre was AMAZING. And you can't go wrong with a plate of Papardelle, if you're a pasta fan! The environment is friendly, and all the staffs here are welcoming and provides amazing service. Thanks Elvis for always giving me a great time here. You'll need to end your night with Tiramisu as well, 10/10 here!

I met a friend here for lunch today with a noon booking. We arrived early and they very kindly let us in at 11.45am to sit and chat and have a delicious pre lunch Pimms.
In our usual fashion we decided to share each dish so we could greedily taste everything without actually being gluttonous.
So we ordered two small dishes, two mains, and one side.

Starting with tuna carpaccio we had a couple of mouthfuls each and it was lovely and full of rich fresh tuna flavour with salt and sesame and some avocado mouse puffs on top, and I chased the serving oil around the empty plate with my finger. The second small dish was of mixed tomatoes with basil and a lovely silky creamy cheese called baratta. It was a fresh, surprisingly delicate, and yummy dish.

Then into the mains. I'm sorry I didn't photograph our first main of fresh gnocchi with a rich veal and mushroom ragout but the aroma was so delicious we both dived in and gobbled it down tout suite. All gone, no photo. Ooops. Seriously yum though.
For our second main we were no longer quite so ravening, so we stopped to admire the presentation. Eye fillet medium rare on a bed of sweet potato and jus. Our side was roasted cauliflower, a huge and delicious dish that could easily serve four. The fillet was perfectly cooked and tender and so meaty in flavour, and yes my finger once again might have chased some left over jus around the plate, while my friend took minimal persuasion to just spoon it directly onto her tongue.
And a second round of Pimms was enjoyed by all.

We thoroughly enjoyed our window seat location, the ambience, and the surprisingly conversational acoustics. The menu didn't overwhelm you with too many choices, but showed a clear culinary style that had clean flavours that relied on quality ingredients without too much elaboration. A most delcious experience.

For lunch this was a very nice, almost leisurely meal. Maybe an hour and three quarters. About 75$ per head, and service was excellent, timely but not at all intrusive.

They also had what looked to be a seriously wonderful wine selection and an excellent bar.
Very much recommended.
