The food is exceptional here. We love it. Great variety, so fresh and tasty, great plate sizes and beautifully presented. The staff are pretty attentive and friendly. So close to Southbank so you can enjoy a drink somewhere beforehand or a dessert afterwards. A great place, great food in an awesome location. Don’t miss out on going here.

Truly authentic Vietnamese cuisine at a reasonable price given the upper scale neighbourhood it is in. We enjoyed our spicy beef pho a lot but what made it perfect was the customer service. The manager and staff were so warm and welcoming throughout the entire meal. They even went as far to go buy a lighter for us when we needed one for our birthday cake! Top quality place.

Went for my favourite spicy beef soup and tried their coconut juice and deep fried ice cream today. Their beef pho and spicy beef soup are the dishes you shouldn't have missed when you are in southbank area, especially during rainy day. The coconut juice was very refreshing and the deep fried ice cream looked nice with the decoration. Again, a big thumb up for their authentic spicy beef soup and beef pho, the type of dishes you won't regret after having it.

Most of the restaurants were closed by the time we went for food in night. These guys accepted us as last customer.

Food came in very quick and to our surprise was very tasty as well. May be because we were famished by then.

Tried some unknown stuff and was happy with the taste. Quantity was ok.

Staff was very accommodating and took order by hand as we were unable to order through QR code.

It had a nice ambience and crowd was good too.

The name sums it up - delight! We visited on New Years night when many venues were closed. This restaurant was fairly busy. Service was prompt as was the delivery of food and drink. Food was outstanding - just as it is in Vietnam - fresh and delicious. Prices were exceptional. Not the norm in Southbank. We enjoyed everything - could not fault a thing.

Myself and children visited this lovely little gem this evening, after walking around trying to find a Mexican restaurant we had plans for, we settled for viet de lites. Service was outstanding it was very busy because of lunar new year, we found a table straight away and food was not far behind. Everything we ordered was abundant and absolutely beautiful. Pho was flavoursome, all noodle soups and stirfrys were packed full of flavour, we will be back in no time.

Such a lovely place. I have been loads of times and it's always delicious. Unpretentious and reasonably priced.

Loved the food, the service, the staff. I had a sore throat and their pho got me feeling better!

Holiday in GC, came to Southbank for the day. Lunch here at Viet De Lites was the best choice we made for Asian food. Thomas served us he was excellent and food was delicious. Highly recommend this place.

I came here by myself while waiting for my daughter at the theatre. I was quickly seated in a lovely spot outside by friendly staff. I ordered the beef pho and a side of steamed vegetables which came out in around 10-15 minutes. My beef pho was so tasty and hot, full of flavour and just what I needed. The steamed vegetables were perfect, capsicum, broccoli, onion, and celery. After reading all the other reviews about rude staff, chaotic atmosphere etc. I can tell you now that it wasn’t like that on the Wednesday night I was there.
I don’t think there’s anything overly extravagant here, just good clean natural healthy food. The restaurant is clean and tidy. The food is well priced and plenty of seating inside and out.

Soy glazed salmon was cooked very well and we enjoyed the duck with basil and good selection of the vegetables. The ladies were friendly. Very quick service and overall an enjoyable dinner.

We had to wait a bit for our food but we were told the kitchen was busy however the wait was worth it this is some of the best Vietnamese food around, the Coconut Curry was delightful. We will definitely go again next time we are in Brisbane.

Good service and good food. We had an early dinner here on Saturday 8/5/21. If you are not into spicy food beware of the beef dishes. ( only 2 from memory). Chicken with noodle dishes were great and good quantity.

Delicious meal, fast service and really friendly. Ordered from the table using QR code and food came out at the same time hot and freshly made. A lovely dining experience with friends :)
