Absolutely amazing spot, if the weather is kind you are in for a real treat. The sand does get rather soft past sites 17, so consider coming in on lower tides so you have the room to turn around.

Perlubie beach
15$ per night per vehicle 🚐 🚙 whatever the number of occupants.
Large beach that can accommodate about 20 vehicles.
Toilets 🚻.
Lots of flies. This is certainly due to the fact that the seaweed is not collected regularly and attracts them.
If with the 15$ the municipality would clean a bit more, the campers would pay more willingly. Many arrived and left the next day without paying. We had a great quiet night there to the sound of the waves with a beautiful sunset 🌅.

Perlubie Beach SA is our favourite on the beach, beach camp in Australia... so far. This is very tide dependant and weather/wind and weed dependant too. King tides are possible and can become dangerous if you are too close to the tide mark. The dunes are wonderful to explore. The beach itself is clean and safe, with the water being very shallow for a great distance, making it very safe for children. Fishing is ON here, with cockles found readily in the shallow water, you dont even need to bring bait. Our son collected cockle and baited his own rod, and caught 11 whiting within a few minutes. Brilliant fishing and water activities here. The water is warm due to being shallow, you could sit in it all day. This site is currently honesty box donation based and unrestricted, except for common courtesy of being self contained. This is shortly going to be reassessed and likely become a booked paid site limited to a number of sites. This change is anticipated to occur 15th December 2022.

A must do camping spot !
Plenty of room but you must book in and be self sufficient. Try to stay when high tide is in the morning. Summer is best but winter is great as long as you don't want to swim . Camp sites are now limited to 20 so it's not as overwhelming as it was.

Great "on the beach" camping.
Crystal clear water and very safe for all ages. Fishing, kayacklng or just relaxing. Low tides you can walk to Eba Island. Flush toilets, no showers. Everything you need is BYO. At $10 for overnight camping it's the closest you'll get to paradise.

Amazing spot to beach camp and enjoy. Huge beach that you can drive onto easily. Love the huts as well for sitting out all day in. Gorgeous water colour and not deep which is great for kids and families. Stunning white sand

Absolutely beautiful spot
We were lucky to snag the fourth hut along close to toilets and entrance. Amazing waking up and going to sleep with the sound of the ocean. Well done to the person who keeps the toilets spotless. More than worth the $10 per night
Paradise.

Limited space off the beach but plenty on it. Not my taste to camp right on the high tide line, but plenty seem to like it! The No Camping within 50 metres of the Shelters rule seems to be ignored...

We loved our stay at Perlubie. We camped for one night, enjoyed a stunning sunset, and had our dog with us. Droppies were clean. If in tent, check weather conditions as its quite exposed and windy. We have a Subaru Outback and it managed well the beach drive to camping sites.

What a spectacular beach. Pack yourself a picnic and spend the day there. They have permanent shelters and you can drive onto the beach. Nice shallow water which is perfect for kids.

What an amazing spot to camp/caravan. $20 p/n. Spacious sites and surprisingly peaceful. Can get a bit windy which is expected. We loved it.

Just beautiful. If we had been able to book a camping spot we would definitely stay here. Will be more organised next time and book in advance.
