Koi Knives - Clarence Park

I've had several knives and a knife roll shipped to the US from Koi and everything has been exceptionally well crafted. I highly recommend them. The knives have a perfect weight and feel in the hand, look absolutely gorgeous, and of course cut, chop and slice with the best. The knife roll is also exquisitely hand made.

Attended the knife sharpening class today with John. So informative, knowledgeable and helpful! A great introduction to our knife sharpening journey, much more involved than I had thought. Definitely worth going.

We now have 6x Koi knives and they are excellent. Not only lovely to use but they look beautiful in our kitchen hanging on our magnetic strip. Art work for the kitchen!

I recently discovered Koi Knife and I couldn't be happier! As a frequent home cook, I was in need of a high-quality knife for my Asian cooking and the Bunka was the perfect choice. I use it 4-5 times a week for seafood and other proteins and I haven't had to sharpen it in three months. The geometry of the knife makes slicing through fish a breeze. The staff at the shop are knowledgeable and passionate about knives, which made the buying experience all the better. I'm so glad to have a local knife shop around and I would highly recommend Koi Knife to anyone looking for a quality knife!

We have three knives and the magnetic wooden rack. Great craftsmanship and design. So easy to use and keep sharp. We had the opportunity to do the sharpening course and learned a lot about keeping the knife set. Great investment if you like cooking. Exciting showrooms with a beautiful selection of almost every type of knife you can think of. All are made on the premises, with Japanese steel and an assortment of locally sourced woods and resin. The knives are a work of art but they are also well balanced and extremely functional. Everyone there is passionate about knives and very knowledgeable about making, sharpening and caring for knives. They offer professional knife sharpening, but also tools and workshops if you want to learn to sharpen them yourself.
