Satisfied with my end result and received useful guidance for the future and planning.

I have been to H&R Block for the last two years to do my Tax Return. They had details of my previous return from last year which made it very easy as I only had to bring any new expenditure. Things I would have forgotten like how much I could claim for washing my uniforms and internet usage. I was very happy with the amount I got back from my tax and the fee I had to pay was minimal in contrast to this. The accountant explained various things to me clearly so I was able to understand what I could claim.

I have been with H & R Block since 1986. The past three years with the Ballina Branch. Their Consultants are friendly, professional and very knowledgeable. I can strongly recommend their services.

Went to Ballina H&R Block again for my latest individual Tax Return. Once again found Heather to be very pleasant to deal with. She is very efficient and thorough to ensure I can get my maximum possible return. Will definately continue to use the services of H&R Block Ballina in tbe future.

After another accounting firm had told me advice that was not going to give me a good tax return I went to see Graham at H&R Block and he was able to get me a great return in a very quick timeframe. Great experience!

They had my tax done in no time.

Asked multiple times to be transferred to a different accountant to file taxes - as we worked with Zac in DECEMBER to complete our tax returns and he takes approximately 1 month to respond to each email we send, filled out our forms with misspelled names, and wanted us to pay him twice what we were told we'd be charged - Oh, and its mid-march now and nothing has happened. I have spoken to 3 different people, asking to be transferred to someone else and have received no response. I don't want anyone to be in trouble I just wanted my taxes filed for the love of god

Mucked me around . Waited very long time for my rebate/refund told different amounts and not been clear taken twice as long as should have . Never ever go to these guys . They will waste your money and your time .

The appointment in itself was expensive but I went there after a great experience in another H&R block in another town ( Noosa Heads )from last years return . I lodged beginning of July and My return was marked as « in progress »for 3 months , I called several time the office to ask about it and was told to « just wait ».
Ended up calling ATO myself about 4 times , and was asked by them several missing details in order to complete the return ( which was why it was pending. .)
In the end I have a debt to ATO instead of getting a refund as it was estimated by the appointment.
following the discovery that I had to pay back ( because of a mistake in my taxe profile) , I tried to email and call several time the office and didn’t get any return call / email , when in my situation I would have wished someone answered me and contacted me to help me Amend and make the necessary changes . Instead I have to make the research and again call ATO myself all day long to understand the issue .

I am going to another agent now to solve this , someone who will assist me through all the process of the return until finalised . Isn’t that why we pay a tax agent ?!
Very disappointed and don’t recommend this office .
