Shambala Estate

We had the best day celebrating our wedding at Shambala. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much, and we had the day of our dress. Bi and Lisa were so professional and helped guide us in all areas. The food was delicious, and the gardens are spectacular at all hours. The fact we could have our fur babies present was an extra special element. We can't wait to go back to celebrate our anniversary next year!

I got married here and it was such a lovely experience.

The wedding coordinators are so amazing and accommodating. I think they made my wedding day flow so well and made everyone feel relaxed throughout the event.

The gardens are beautiful for photos and the chapel and reception areas are so spacious and stunning!

The accommodation is beautiful and good to stay in for the wedding.

Couldn’t recommend them enough. Their packages are also so inclusive, it takes the stress out of organising things like a dj, catering, bar, decorating and more!

So impressed by this venue. Such magical grounds, immaculately kept gardens, many interesting features throughout.

The accommodation was stunning, HUGE two person spa, fire place, self-contained kitchen and private deck. My cottage was super private and the bird life was stunning.

The property is also a wedding and function venue, you would be so happy if you booked here. The staff are incredibly helpful, nothing is too much.

We have had a wedding for my son just several days ago at this estate. We loved it! The real tell tell sign of how good they were, was after the event, when all the money was paid and Shambala could have easily said that we are done now (and have been within their rights) . But no, Shambala went the extra mile and explained the final account with much kindness and grace and showed a very generous spirit. Highly impressed with your integrity and kindness. Thank you so much! Weddings can be so stressful but you have made it a pleasant journey for our family. God bless you.

I can’t speak highly enough of my wonderful stay at Shambala. My room was beautiful, super spacious, enormous bathroom, super comfy king size bed, set amidst lovely gardens, and the staff were all great. Fantastic location, quiet and private, yet close enough to walk to the local shops. Looking forward to visiting again.

I attended a retreat at Shambala and was blown away by the quality of the facilities, the tranquil & gorgeous grounds and the delicious food, picked locally and made with love by Shambala’s chef - you could taste the difference. The venue was beautiful, with stunning grounds and is perfect for a wedding, it even has its own church as well as magical reception rooms. The accommodation was very clean and of a high quality too. Nothing was too much trouble and Tony & Tara were always happy to assist in any way they could to make our stay the best it could be. We wanted for nothing. I will be back!!!

I had my wedding here in September and couldn't have asked for a more perfect day. The venue itself is absolutely lovely, well kept and comforting. We had our ceremony outside and it was beautiful. The reception was held in the pavilion room where every guest commented on how wonderful and pretty it was. The staff were incredibly helpful with their support and advice, they were kind and understanding, innovative and thoughtful. The food was delicious and everyone left feeling happily satisfied. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!

The grounds are beautiful and the cottages have everything you voukd need. Clean and well equipped, substantial mini bar and reasonable prices. Staff were lovely and our puppies loved their little stay

I've got to give a big shout-out to Bi at Shambala Estate. She was the star behind Chris and Courtney's wedding, making sure everything went off without a hitch. Trust me, she knows how to throw a great party!

Working with Bi was a breeze - her positive energy is contagious and she's super friendly. I was there to take photos and she made my job so much easier. She's got all the details down pat, so I could just focus on capturing the magic.

Beautiful spot, gardens are amazing. The lady from reception showed us to our room and gave us helpful tips. I'd just say you could make an enclosure for the peacocks to roam free. It would make a beaut wedding venue. 💑 5 stars 🌟 🤩

We had our wedding here in September last year. We were married under the grotto, absolutely stunning location took some beautiful photos. Everyone was so friendly and efficient. Keen to come back to stay in their accommodation for our anniversary ❤

The whole experience was amazing and everything we wanted! It was such a smooth and stress free couple of months leading up to the big day and on the day! The whole team were amazing and always had our best interests at heart!

Such an amazing estate, we stayed in cabin 4, the fire 🔥 place, spa bath, it's so romantic, perfect for an intimate get away as well as a wedding venue. The service is excellent, owners are passionate, generous and incredibly helpful.

The grounds are beautiful, the energy of the land is just stunning. Definitely book several days here, the mountain is an amazing place to explore.

I stayed over the Christmas period (with the wild storms). The staff were welcoming and friendly. I was pleased the cottage had emergency lighting when the power went down.

Completely, and utterly loved our wedding here. Everything ran so smooth on the day. It made for a wonderful stress free time. The venue was perfect for what we wanted, the food was amazing, and due to recent renovations, the accommodation in the villas were so peaceful and relaxed. Only advise I have for anyone having their function here, is to remember the bug spray :)

We held our son’s wedding at Shambala Estate last weekend and couldn’t have been happier. From the grounds and the many options of different places to hold your ceremony, to the food and the value for money, but most importantly are the staff. They’re so supportive, accomodating and nothing is too much trouble for them. They helped the day flow so smoothly. I highly recommend you to look at Shambala if you have an event coming up.

Cannot comment on their weddings, but their onsite cabins where beautifully appointed and private for ridiculously reasonable prices.
The main business is wedding receptions, so midweek you can easily find yourself practically alone on their sprawling estate.
The kookaburras that came to visit on our cabins balcony were a delight.
This will be my go to spot for jaunts up to Tambourine.

Wedding venue for my niece. Very pretty place. Lovely chapel with traditional pews (yes it was a little church) to be married in settled in rainforest. Easy for bride and groom to enter. Theres vestry entry for any disabled people as there are some steps out front. Then into the wedding breakfast in a very elegant looking dining space. Outside area under cover where we had mimosa and canapes. Theres a little waterfall right there too.dining experience very good. 2 courses then wedding cake. Very nicely presented tables dressed beautifully for wedding. Highly recommend you consider this for your wedding. Or even a special birthday. Will post a few photos but none of the couple.

Hands down... simply amazing!!!! After meeting with Bi & Roz for the first time we knew straight away that they was the right fit for us. Their beautiful nature and witty humour was an absolute breathe of fresh air. As a venue we could not be happier with the services and amenities provided. From start to finish the girls could not have been anymore helpful!!! Everything was just perfect. They definitely know how to look after their clients and make them feel special. My wife and I 110% recommend the whole team at Tamborine Gardens Wedding Resort. To anyone who is looking to get married definitely put this on your list to check out. You will not be disappointed.
