Emu Cafe at Wildlife Wonders

This is a totally favorite haunt of ours. We often make this cafe our destination as we walk from Apollo Bay to Wildlife Wonders. This jewal of a spot is a bit of a secret … for those of you looking for a cool destination, great cafe, interesting ambiance, friendly kids and dog encouraging staff plan your visit now… you will not be disappointed. Top spot 👍

One of the best breakfasts we had on our trip along the great ocean road! There were indeed gorgeous emus out the window to marvel at while eating, lizards and turtles in beautiful tanks indoors, and an extraordinarily well-curated gift shop to browse while the food is being made. Lovely, lovely atmosphere.

Gre at place to enjoy a coffee and a meal. Coffee is great as was all the different breakfast options. We dined outside with our pup. Very friendly service and great to be away from the rush of Apollo Bay. Highly recommend 👍

Absolutely delicious chicken focaccia sandwich, nice peaceful outdoor seating area and excellent friendly staff. Great coffee too!

Found this gem of a cafe run by the friendliest of people and best of all - Max the barista from Melbourne who makes the best coffee this side of Chapel Street, South Yarra!

Such a beautiful place to stop for lunch or coffee - sheltered and stunning outdoor area, indoors the kids love seeing the blue-tongue lizards and turtles while they eat. The staff are warm and welcoming, delicious food, great coffee. Beautiful gift shop. Kids loved the tour - the guides got them really involved.

We have been regular visitors to Apollo bay for 30 years. There are many aspects of our visits which remain the same (which we love) and occasionally something new which we know will become part of our Apollo bay rhythm - Emu Cafe at Wildlife Wonders is such a place. The perfect setting (including glimpses of an Emu), great food (particularly the corn fritters), delightful staff, dog friendly and a sense of purpose. We will be back.

Lovely, healthy food and good coffee 😊 sometimes you get to watch some emus or roos through the glass into the sanctuary too!
