What a perfect wedding venue.

My husband and I had a weekend festival style wedding at Camp Sunnystones, featuring a giant marquee, a pizza truck, rock band, and the most beautiful backdrop (this venue).

We were able to rent the venue for the entire weekend, which was such a bonus as our guests could 'check in', relax, and enjoy the campground. It also meant no horrible bump-in and bump-out times. We set everything up on the Friday and packed everything down on the Sunday.

Being a DIY venue, the world is truly your oyster. I loved how we could tailor our wedding to be uniquely us, rather than the rinse and repeat formula you see at so many venues. Our day was personalised to be the perfect representation of us.

The team at Camp Sunnystones were a dream to work with. They promptly answered all of our questions, while making us feel completely at home on our wedding weekend.

We had a number of international guests, so the bunk bed accomodation made things seamless for everyone. It also meant the festivities felt like they carried on into the next day.

If you're considering booking this venue for your wedding, do it! I wish we could do it all over again.

We had our wedding at Camp Sunnystones in December 2022 and we had an amazing experience. The venue itself is so perfect for a unique and memorable celebration- all of our guests asked us how we found such a gem! The team at Sunnystones were equally amazing- Kate, David and Jessy took the time to answer our questions, take us on site tours and help us feel supported the whole way. We loved how there were improvements being made to the venue and surrounds to make it an extra special venue by the time we had our day- it shows the owners really care! We also loved being able to book extra nights so we could take our time bumping in and out. We are so grateful such a special place to say I Do! Thank you team, we are still receiving compliments for what a fun time everyone had!

Wow. Where to begin. I've wanted Camp Sunnystones as my wedding venue for YEARS and I was so excited when we FINALLY got to use it!... We booked 18 months before our big day and every single interaction was such smooth sailing.
I communicated mostly with Kate and Dave who were both always accommodating, helpful and insightful. I never felt that I was left in the dark or stressed in the slightest, because they were incredible.
The venue itself is so picturesque and the recent upgrades are absolutely perfect! We also had several guests from out of town/state so the bunk accommodation made things VERY easy for everyone!
If you're considering Camp Sunnystones for your wedding, do it! You won't regret it!

Team leaders at camp were super positive and very helpful . Our students absolutely had a funfilled day with many engaging activities which they all participated in. Geocaching was the favourite one of the day.
Compliments to the Chef as the food was a good variety enjoyed by both the teachers and students. We highly recommend Sunnystones as the perfect camp for a day camp.

My husband and I had the most magical awesome wedding, and all thanks to the incredibly cool, kind and co-operative legends that run Camp Sunnystones. We cannot recommend enough. If you want a dreamy, stress-free and ultra special wedding then this is what you’ll get! The space is out of this world. Pinch ourselves even know a month after the wedding. It was just too perfect and we have them to thank for that!

Camp Sunny Stones was the perfect place for our wedding - the natural beauty is breathtaking, the accommodation options are varied and comfortable, and the freedom to organise our own vendors helped us to keep our costs down and do exactly what we want.

We really love that this is predominantly a school camp which rents out to weddings on the weekends, it gives the place a genuine charm.

Our international guests loved seeing kangaroos and beautiful native birds.

Of all the venues I researched, this was the only one that had then possibility of a great, loud dance floor up until 11 and then a quieter (but still great!) dance floor indoors in the sound insulated room in the house after 11.

The CSS team are super friendly and laid back. Great vibes all round.

Camp Sunnystones was one of the best venues, experiences and weekends I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing. I booked out Camp Sunnystones for my 30th birthday party and the staff here went above and beyond to see that everything was perfect for my stay. We slept 40 adults and there was plenty of spaces to spread out, the dining room was perfect for trivia and boardgames and everyone loved the views and relaxed atmosphere. We booked in activities and were delighted with the archery, low ropes and raft building. There was nothing but laughter, joy and happiness from my friends and if you are looking to relive your childhood and create life long memories- look no further than Camp Sunnystones.

My wife Caitlin and I recently hosted our wedding at Camp Sunnystones. It is truly a stunning property with an expansive view over the conservation state forest. The rustic stone wall throughout the main hall is a beautiful feature, as is the Italian style courtyard. The venue's versatility is well suited to many different styles of events. It was a pleasure working with the staff at CS and I would not hesitate to recommend this venue to a friend or family member to host their wedding.

Camp Sunnystones is an amazing camp that we would highly recommend to anyone. Its picturesque location provides a stunning backdrop to a program that is run like a well-oiled machine.

The staff were friendly, organised, hilarious and professional. They provided excellent communication in the lead up to the camp. The online portal made it easy to track our “to do list” in the months and weeks prior. The staff provided a clear itinerary and clothing list; we were then able to give this information directly to parents. The portal also had a space for organising the cabin allocations and resources for the risk assessments and emergency management plans.

Our students loved the bush walk in and we all had a “wow” moment upon arrival when we reached the summit and saw the gorgeous backdrop. The facilities were clean and the staff were absolutely lovely to us and fantastic at engaging with students. Steph built us a fire before knocking off for the day which was much appreciated.

Even our fussiest eaters enjoyed the food. The salad for staff was a nice touch, as was the complimentary coffee delivered by Jessy from a local café.

Our students enjoyed the age-appropriate activities, which were well-run by the staff.

Thank you Camp Sunnystones, we will be back!

Lucky enough to celebrate a family birthday at Sunnystones. We stayed the weekend and had a wonderful time. The venue was perfect for all ages. The spaces were perfect catering for all weather conditions. Plenty of space to explore. Easy to cater for large groups and the numerous sleeping areas were fantastic.

First School camp in a few years. Students enjoyed the stay. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Program is well structured and enough to entertain the students. 1 negative, some students staid they received dirty cups.

Kate, Dave and Jessie were all fantastic to work with, great communication and the friendliest of people! The grounds have been recently landscaped which created the perfect location for our marquee reception and outdoor ceremony. The homestead was awesome for sleeping our guests, and the grounds were great for our glamping tents!

This venue is a beautiful spot to create exactly what you want. Kate was an absolute legend ensuring it was executed exactly how we wanted.

We had a group of 60 people (including children) staying for 2 nights and every single one of us were so impressed with everything! Every child had something to do, fantastic facilities, incredible views and the owners are great people to deal with. Highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for group accommodation - just beautiful!

We had 75 people stay for 2 nights and 138 guests attend our wedding. We had an incredible weekend, our guests loved it, the owners and managers were so lovely to work with and we couldn’t have chosen a better venue.
