Bill was extremely helpful and is very knowledgeable in the hunting and fishing sections.

After purchasing a new bow I decided to buy some arrows. Bill didn't just help me select some quality arrows, but he helped tailor the bow to a draw length and poundage that suited me.

Additionally there is a huge range of fishing gear, lots of imported Japanese gear, which is hard to find at other stores

I discovered Compleat Angler Minchinbury 3 months ago, and since then it has become my go to tackle shop. Adam and the experienced team are always happy to offer advice on gear, techniques, locations etc. The store has a huge range of fishing products, catering for 95% of my needs. I highly recommend dropping in!

Having started Game fishing with my own boat I needed the best advice I could find to ensure success or at least to give me the best chances possible of success..
Craig and the team at minchinbury C.A are top level fisherman with legitimate experience... after one visit to the shop and listen to the advice they gave me my very next trip was a success 🙌

I strongly advise anyone who is either starting fishing or already into fishing go down to the store and speak to these fellas

Such an amazing first time experience today! Went in with the intention to do nothing but look at awnings. The floor stock had already been sold but one of the staff (I didn’t grab his name sorry!) was kind enough to set up the one on his car even though I had expressed I wasn’t looking to spend money today. In the process, made sure to explain how to set it up and how to pack it away the easiest way which was SUPER helpful. Also took the time to run me through a few different models, the differences of each, and best prices that he could do for me. The personalised customer service added with the quality product resulted in me happily tapping my card and walking away with an awning that suited me perfectly. Will definitely be back in the near future. Thanks guys!

Walked instore looking into this massive fishing equipments and all bits and pieces without any idea what to buy for a starter when Bill approached us to offer help and what a great deal! we got a complete set more affordable than my son’s budget plus he thought us many things about fishing absolutely experienced and knowledgeable and he even setup everything ready for a catch! We are very pleased with all the staff they are gemI could have rated 10/10! We will definitely go back at Compleat Angler and Camping for all our fishing equipments.

If you’re after bow/hunting advice (no matter if you’re new to the game or been around awhile) - Bill is the man to see - he is an absolutely legend and loves to look after his customers!

Compleat Angler is the place to be in Sydney if you want sound advice on fishing. Prior to leaving for a trip down through rural SA & VIC we thought we would go into Compleat Angler & Camping World to pick up some lures/supplies for our trip as a first visit. We did not regret it. We spoke to Jason who was a world of knowledge on freshwater fishing, and we were more than happy to report back that we even managed to catch a Murray Cod on the lure that Jason recommended we used. He spent an hour describing how to use them, when best used and demonstrating various ways on how to use our new bait caster. We followed all instructions and managed to come back with a whole bucket of decent fish. While there we also got to meet Bill - who believe it or not is a taxidermist working at Compleat Angler. We are now having our fox tail from the trip tanned by him. Minchinbury Compleat Angler is definitely a one spot shop for us now.

Staff are excellent and recommended me a selection of lures to chase my first trout. Sure enough it did the trick.

Great experience. Well layed out floor plan and sections. The staff were happy to spend more than an hour with me to dial in specifics on a new bow, to ensure i was happy with my purchase and left with a confidence about it.

Walked in to look at options to upgrade my fishing setup. Jase greeted me at the door & before I knew it I had a great, affordable combo at my fingertips. Can't wait to hit the water again.
