CERES Grocery, Bakery and Cafe

Fantastic little grocery store in Ceres. Selling a range of local, organic, wholesale food produce. Also has a small takeaway section with soup, sandwiches and cakes. The ham, cheese and pickle mustard toasting was to die for.

For the eco conscious person this is like paradise. You can find mostly everything here. A bit pricey but if you have a bit extra to throw its great to throw it here. Bring your own bags and jars to fill up on the self serve dried foodstuff or cleaning products.

Had the pumpkin soup and chick peas, with cheese toasty very tasty and terrific on a cold wet drizzly day. The Mocha also went down well. The Frittata looked lovely also. Bring a keep cup for coffee to go or pay $2 for an edible cup

Lovely atmosphere. Nice open spaces. Not crowded. Good coffee and very good bread.

The coffee is terrible in the lower cafe (grocery/market) area though.

Super fresh produce with details of the farmer frequently provided. Good selection of bulk foods. Excellent range of sustainable grocery products with practical everyday application like hair brushes and scourers. Bring your own shopping bags as none are provided, usually some boxes available.
Excellent coffee and pastries for sale at the coffee station with a nice outdoor area to sit and watch the chickens. Oh yes, they also sell the eggs from the CERES hens and they are delicious.
Wonderful helpful staff that don't mind a chat and remember all their regulars. A great space to escape the hustle and bustle of the city.

We do our regular weekly fruit and veg shop at Ceres and we love it. The prices are what you would expect to pay for organic and I love that you know exactly where things were grown so you can consider footprint. The staff are super friendly - all you need to do is ask and they're always happy to help 😊

Great coffee and lots of organic products and veg. You can even buy eggs from the chooks on the grounds (which you can also say hi to). Good coffee too and they have oat milk. Not necessarily cheap but more reasonably priced than most other organic grocery stores.

My absolute go-to for groceries and inspiration. Fantastic food and household supplies that come at a fair cost. Every time I visit they’ve thought of a new innovation and I was so impressed with how the store was adapted to social distancing measures, thank you CERES for being the best!

CERES, on the corner of Stewart and Robert streets, is very popular as they have. You are able to see every day. Saturday, they have a great, like stalls selling the following: for women, men, children clothings. Jewellery, books, oils for your body and lots of other things. They also have restaurant where you can sit and enjoy you're Tea, coffee, cakes and toasted sandwiches. They also have Courses you can attend, and go to information section, where staffs can give more information should you need to follow - up more information. They also have childrens playground, and you can also see vegetables growing, Chicken in their specialized field.

Great range, and staff very helpful for any questions about products. Grocery café is doing take away during Covid 19 - can BYO Keep cup still, as long as customers handle them only while staff fill it (with great coffee! ☕)

Cheese and mushroom toastie was absolutely delicious. Neither the bread nor mushroom was tough so every bite was clean and didn't pull the toastie apart. Partner's gluten free cheese toastie was much the same

A really nice organic grocery. A good selection of produce and bring-your-own-container cleaning products. The cafe makes a selection of hot drinks and sandwiches etc.

Good products friendly staff good entertainment. The cafe has good food and in general a great place to catch up with friends and just relax also has some great educational programes running if interested in picking up a new skill

Beautiful, educational for children, lots of nature and permaculture ideas. Grocery for organics , cafe and everything you need in a peaceful and great place for family.

Didn't buy any veggies, per say, but the coffee was excellent, the atmosphere and staff very chilled and the gardens very relaxing.

A fantastic way to spend a few hours on the weekend. Great coffee and the new kid's playground is amazing.
