I’ve been coming here to shop since the opening a few years ago and these guys are consistently outdoing themselves on quality produce and service!
The staff on every section have always been beautifully kind and helpful, the products available are top quality from artisan meats & cheeses to the best kinds of gluten free products available.
I especially love the ways in which the team here strive to serve the community with the convenience of home cooked meals and the pop up lunches on Saturday.

Honestly this place is such a treasure!

The Grocer and the Chef is a gourmet establishment offering a great selection of fresh fruit and vegetables, pantry items , delicatessen foods and ready to go meals and coffee. The fruit and vegetable is always reasonable quality with bargains to be found. Some things can be a little pricey but in general offers a great shopping experience. The staff are extremely polite and helpful. It is always a pleasure to shop here.

Amazing market for well priced fresh produce, a very tempting deli and a great range of quality grocery items. The focaccia is to die for!

So good, heaps of great products. So much gluten free, got a gluten free muffin which was delicious. Definitely will be coming back.

Pricey but worth the variety of fruit, vegetables and Gluten Free food.

You would find yerba mate , chipa and dulce de membrillo ( quince paste)

I love this shop. Almonds, caramel, bagels , raw honey and black spaghetti.

Fresh produce, excellent quality, extensive variety of amazing consumable goods, bonus they also have unique gifts. Welcoming staff and if you pre order catering you will be guaranteed the guests will love the choice, genuinely home made so best bonus you can claim you threw it together yourself 🤣👍

Love going there. The produce is great, and they have all sorts of interesting foods /brands that are nice to find locally and not to have to shop elsewhere for.
They also carry the best baby bum cleanser (which is also a great makeup remover) by a local small business: Nappy Time Cleanser by Natural Bloom ... hand made locally by a friend of mine. Love it when locals are supported by locals. Highly recommend this shop.

I was on a business trip and planned to go get some gourmet food from the Boatshed but a good mate said..."°Have you tried the Grocer and the Chef?". Needles to say I was not disappointed with thr service, quality, taste and price of what they had on offer. Well done Justin and Raoul...greatest place to eat in Perth!

Fantastic Store The Grocer & Chef Beaconsfield. Fresh produce, staff friendly, helpful. Don't go past the coffee exceptional taste. No after taste. Team it with a delectable selection of cakes, croissants- I can vouch for the almond croissant. Don't forget the freshly made pizza, hot foods, cooked chickens, cold meats. Also the selection of cheeses. If gluten free is what your looking for, go no further. You can sample an array of produce. So much more to take in.

In the shopping precinct there is a great bakery.

Great shop. The pre-prepared meals are so much better than the TV dinners you get from retail chains. A real time saver, and better quality than takeaway.

Love this place! Best place for fresh fruit and vegetables but it's so much more than just a fruit and veggie shop. This place is also a true Delicatessen, with lots of different groceries, cheeses and breads, chocolates, frozen foods as well as ready made rolls, sandwiches and fresh salads. It's so good.

It's great to see what they have done with this shop.

The update makes this the best shop for 10-15kms.

I'll now go out of my way to come there and do my shopping. They have a fabulous range of products, great prices and very well organised.

It's a real pleasure to browse and shop there.

This was one of my favourite shops years ago, and I stopped coming. But now it's back to the top of its game. And its streets ahead of any competition within at least a 10 km radius.

What an absolute pleasure - I wish all grocery stores were like this! Huge selection of the most gorgeous produce, which you have the option of buying singularly or with a bulk discount. Their array of meals/sandwiches/precooked foods is absolutely mind blowing, and very reasonably priced. The rest of the store featured beautiful quality products, many of which were either Italian imports or local Australian products.
This will be my regular grocery store from now on.

Always a great place to shop, lots of quality grocery specials. It's been about a year since I've been in, my wife stopped coming a while ago because she thought the prices where no longer competitive with shops close by like Galatis in Wray Ave. But today I could see what she meant. We use to buy most of our fruit and veg here but today we only spent $6 the prices have gone through the roof. Still a nice shop well set out with nice hot food , just anywhere near the prices for good fruit and vegetables close by. Maybe the young skips don't know how to shop and are keeping the place busy. Pity because we did like coming here but not in pensioners price range anymore.

Great value for money. High end products. Staff helpfull and upstand their craft. you can stock the best ham, but if not cut and handled properly. it will be ruined.

Love it! Get a friend to split a box of veggies or fruit with you at a fraction of the usual retail price. Good quality goodies to stock up on here. Daily specials at the front are still good, grab a coffee and a slice of pizza or a take home dinner. All good stuff.
